If you do end up wanting to read season 1’s manga chapters, it covers about the first 37 or 38 chapters depending on where episode 12 ends at. Though the anime covered pretty much everything in the manga aside from 1 scene in the first few chapters

I couldn't tell what subs you were using but judging by your reactions during the Future Devil scene I'm guessing it's the one where he told Aki "Yiur death is gonna rule!" or something. This is a terrible mistranslation. What he actually said is "You are going to die in the worst way possible". It's a better indication of how sadistic the Future Devil is despite how playful he seems.
