It's Korra time and we're circling the drain to the final showdown between Kuvira and Korra and the rest of Republic City! 

Zhu-Li is gonna tell Varrick to..... BEND OVER She's a damn real one and watching Bolin explain the whole predicament is pure GOLD! 

For a minute Morgan thought that General Iroh fucking BIT IT at the hands of Kuvira's METAL TITAN! 

And Bataar is such a pick-me girl it'll literally take Kuvira taking a kill shot at him to finally wake his whipped ass up!

The comics are pretty good, but if you really love the Avatar universe I highly recommend the Kyoshi novels: Rise of Kyoshi, and Shadow of Kyoshi. They cover how Kyoshi was discovered to be the Avatar under very unusual circumstances, and the fallout of this discovery threatens the safety of the nations. It would be AMAZING if y’all would make a video or two on them after reading them, but I understand that book reviews are much more challenging to create than TV series. My thought would be to make a slideshow of all the talking points you want to hit & going through it on cam I can’t wait for y’all to see what’s next!

In the studio's defense about the "crummy-ass clip show" episode, the writers and animators actually DID publicly apologize on their Twitter before the episode was due to drop, because once again, Corporate had dicked them over and there was nothing they could do to salvage it. I remember LoK was a whole bizarre saga of execs vs. artists since season 2 (really since season 1). The team was livid, but hey, what The Sponge demands, the Sponge gets, I guess. :/

Mathies

okay guys. Asami get a lot of attention in the comics atleast, and at this point her character is very fleshed out and they dont shy away from her and korra both being Bi. As for the recap episode, nickelodeon litterally DEMANDED 13 epidsodes for season 4 so no, they couldn't just make 12. The problem is, the episode was gonna be focused on Kuvira backstory, but then Nick cut their budget and they had to choose between firing part of their team early to spare more money, or turn it into a clip show. I believe they made the morally right choice, even though it sucks.

I fully believe Kuvira loves Baatar Jr. But she has a holy cause, and of course that comes first.
