We got ourselves another OVA for ya while we catch a breather before firing up FA:B! 

And with this episode titled "Lost in a Cruel World," we're focusing on Mikasa, a character that we love but admit, this show sorta sleeps on as far as character development etc, so we're delighted with this episode here! 

We get some Terminator vibes from this, like no matter what Mikasa was bound to be activated, Eren is destined to die in some form, and it doesn't matter the circumstances, that will never change! 

Also, who's this crazy Looking Glass from HBO's Watchmen doing here other than maybe literal kidnapping?! 

Also we should totally get an Eren Doll!

I believe this OVA also has another part that focuses on Annie, and theyre both based on what was originally a novel, Lost Girls I think it was.

oh and also just for the record no mikasa is not actually controlled by her ackerman blood or whatever and armin isnt into annie because of bert or whatever, that was very clearly eren lying to get his friends to hate him or doubt themselves. we can see from season one that armin always had a thing for annie and vice versa annie had a soft spot for armin, remember their interaction during the female titan arc? i think a rewatch before the last part might help u guys understand just a little bit more of the finer details like that.

but of course even without the mind control or whatever killing eren is something that absolutely would be devasting to mikasa so either way its still a very diifficult choice for mikasa, hes the person the loves the most in the world... . we'll see what happens on that front.

Glad to see this reaction! Will y'all also have the OVA about Annie on your roster at some point? It's one of my faves. It does some cool fleshing out of her character. Hope Abe enjoys their break, and thank you all for your awesome AOT reactions! They've brought me joy each week.

It's funny but I think the fact Mikasa doesn't actually have much in the way of character growth is part of why she's so popular.
