For context sean and yall of course, this was not a "Great Divide" type episode or anything that was cut from the main show, OVAs are typically anime only material that is usually created to give fans something to watch while the next season comes out, think of them as like specials or something, since they air out of season. Usually, they are given out as a gift too when you buy the manga magazine, in this case the Shōnen Magazine. So basically, they are sort of semi canon only? Their material is not on the manga itself and is typically all original or based on other ancillary material, but in most cases, they are still approved by and sometimes supervised by the manga creator. This one in particular is very comedy focused because its only somewhat canon, and it referenced a bunch of gag papels that were put at the end of manga volumes as non-canon jokes.

Please consider the dub, it’s highly regarded as one of the few good ones and matches the tone of the show much better in my option. And you won’t have to worry about missing details by having to read all of the subtitles.

I dont think ive ever commented but I would echo what others are saying. Maybe try watching an episode in dub and sub and see which you like? The dub is stellar imo

Guys hate to burst your bubble but they are probably way ahead in filming so its been sub the whole way, doubt they will switch to dub if they are late into the show
