Howdy patrons!

Longtime friends know we LOVE our Batman so to celebrate the recent Matt Reeves Batman movie, this month we present our "OOPS All Batman" episode of BVE.

BvE is our monthly show where we pick the theme and you lovely patrons pick a new cartoon to go against a Watchers in the Bar fave: Batman: The Animated Series!

Each month we film our uncut video reactions to the two episodes and then go into an in-depth discussion on the Patreon exclusive podcast. They're two very different things, so hopefully, you will enjoy them both!

nice to see BvE back. i really wanted brave and the bold to win, such an underrated show. but anyway my suggestions would be The Owl House and Amphibia, two very recent and kinda similiar shows that are pretty much over now. Either one be a great choice.

The Owl House! I found Amphibia nearly unwatchable, though a lot of folks seem to enjoy it. Maybe it's me.

also i have an idea for a theme yall can consider, musicals! or just music in general. i know you hate musicals sean but The Musical Episode or musician/band guest episodes are an staple of animated shows. it would be great, if only to see your reaction to it lol

"Clayface would be non-binary." Oh, you want a shape-shifting, morally gray, nonbinary method actor character? *Looks at profile pic* Might I suggest She-ra and the Princesses of Power? No but seriously, you guys should consider reacting to that series after you finish Korra. It's got a lot of ATLA and LOK vibes, as well as the character I mentioned above in the later seasons. Also, even though you guys have seen the first two seasons of Harley Quinn, I'd be down to watch you do a re-reaction to those seasons before Season 3 comes out (whenever that will be). watching you guys react to this episode was just as fun as your other reactions!

I thought the vining joke was more just a reference to silly Tik Tok trends, especially since we later see Batgirl making Tik Tok like videos when she’s crimefighting. Though I supposed Tik Tok is like the new Vine. Also the thing I always remember about Alan Tudyck—aside from this show and that one season live action DC show with Vanessa Hudgens and the guy who played Abed in Community—is that he voices a character in like every modern Disney animated movie. Like he voiced the Duke of Wesselton in Frozen, and then the next year he voiced a character named Duke Weasleton in Zootopia. I only know that from stumbling across his IMDb page years ago.

I’d also go with The Owl House over Amphibia, especially for these guys to react to. Other than the Season 2 finale of Amphibia, TOH is the more grown up show of those two, especially the humor. I also think the writing is a bit better, in terms of plot development and characterization. I’m probably about a decade younger than Sean, and while I like Amphibia, I LOVE The Owl House. I think it’s second only to ATLA for me. Of course I’m only speaking for myself, not all adults, but in my opinion I think adults would be more likely to prefer TOH over Amphibia. I also think She-ra would be a good choice for them to react to.

Oh I just got to the part of the podcast where you mentioned the DC show that Alan Tudyck was in, and I totally forgot Ron Funches was in it! I knew as soon as I heard him as King Shark when I first watched Harley Quinn that it was Ron Funches, but I couldn’t remember what I’d seen him in before! He just has such a distinct voice, like the best descriptor I can think of is “jolly”, and his last name just sounds so fun that even though I’d barely seen him in anything before Harley Quinn I knew exactly who he was and could picture his face and everything. Also, as soon as you mentioned a voice actor award in the reaction video I knew it would have to go to Clayface/Stephanie. Even if that hadn’t been the password I would’ve guessed that to be your pick.
