January Character Poll (Multi-Choice Votes) (Patreon)

Hey friends,

Our new poll is up and, as was promised last month, it's anime-style characters turn this time.

Every time we open a poll, I feel like I have to explain why some popular suggestion haven't made it, or why I've had to change some suggested pics, so let's do that before I get lots of DMs on Discord again.

There are always too many good options and not enough spots, so sacrifices have to be made. I try to remain completely unbiased when picking candidates, but in the end it's unavoidable that I have to make my own judgement. So, if I feel that a character has been done by numerous other artists and it's not an ongoing series, I don't believe there is much point for us to add into the pile instead of making room for something more original.

As for why I occasionally change suggested pics, the answer is much easier: sometimes we get really tiny character pics that are not even large enough for the poll frames. And some pics are a bit too lewd for our Patreon, which is SFW, in case you haven't noticed. ^_^' In both these cases I have to either Google new pics or use an image upscale service.

I commend you if you've reached this sentence, but that's enough talking for now.
