July Guest Model - Shereen's Torment by Nerikson (Patreon)

Hey friends!

This month we would like to share a model by an extremely talented creator Ernest Nemirovskiy, a.k.a. Nerikson, who specializes in creating ogirinal character models, both miniature and display size.

I first fell in love with Ernest's work in late 2021 when I stumbled upon Ashinna the Revenant. At the time, Elena was working hard on Areelu, and I remember sharing the pics with her and saying "This is the level of quality I dream we'd be able to reach one day". I've been closely following his work ever since, and you might even say Nerikson was one of role models for opening our own Patreon. And when Milana joined our team this year, it turned out she was a big fan of Ernest's work as well. So, imagine my mix of surprise and excitement when I received a message from him a few months ago asking for help with improving his Discord server. I mean, our own Discord wasn't exactly thriving, so it still baffles me to this day as to why one of our patrons told him I was "an expert in this field". XD

Anyway, we established contact, and I must say the quality of his work can only be overshadowed by the quality of his personality! He's a really pleasant person to talk to, so it's no surprise we agreed to run a collab one day. My only regret is that it took so long.

We decided to pick Shereen's Torment for our model swap, but I feel obligated to relay Nerikson's comments about this particular piece. He couldn't stress it enough that it was a model for advanced painters, very unforgiving to any mistakes or gaps in skill. But hey, I'm sure some of our patrons would jump at such a challenge, so knock yourselves out and download it right away!
