Hey everyone!

It's been almost a full week since the last update, so let me share some news. For days I've been pounding my head over how many other artists are either already creating their own Ranni figure or will do so in the following months, given the current popularity of Elden Ring. And as much as I'm excited to see works of people who are much more experienced than me, it makes me wonder how to make my own sculpt distinguishable from many others.

Personally, I'd love to sculpt something like Housewife Ranni from the art above, but that's a more niche (albeit marvelous) version, whereas my primary focus right now is keeping her in character. And as much as I adore the doll witch, let's be honest - with a couple minor exceptions we don't see her do much in the game apart from sitting in the same pose with folded hands, and I'm afraid that's exactly where most other "strict" sculpts are going to land. Admittedly, ensuring uniqueness of my work is a completely new problem for me, as there weren't that many fan-made Nocticula and Areelu figures (if any at all). Which isn't to say I'm not thrilled to see how I fare against the real challenge!

Keeping the above in mind, you've definitely noticed Blaidd's severed head on Ranni's lap. In case you have no idea who he is, the wolf-headed guy is her stepbrother and a loyal servant since their childhood. This scene never happens in the game, but that's my way of paying tribute to their relationship.

But then, it feels wasteful to just discard the original Ranni sculpt with folded hands, because that's precisely the version some of you may desire. Moreover, some people might want the mysterious beautiful witch without a severed head in her hands.

With that said, I've decided to stay true to my name, so this month Bulkamancer is dead set on delivering things in bulk. In other words, you are not just getting a Ranni figure and a bust. But you're not getting two Ranni full-body figures either. Instead, you're getting three! On April 20th, I'm releasing a version with folded hands, a version with wolf head, and a secret third one that I will not fully disclose just yet. If you're dying for a hint: it will be more grim and the doll-witch will have fewer clothes.

Stay tuned!
Elena, a.k.a. Bulkamancer
