July Processpack: Spark (Patreon)

For July I decided to show how I went about doing Spark, and it also works as a short intro to how I go about doing things! From the base lineart to the final colours, the process throughout a variant image like Spark is generally the same. 

The sketch turns into the lineart (I'll explain that bit later?), the base colours applied, and for the most part everything is painted afterwards while trying to maintain the lineart! I've always been indecisive about going full painterly and doing full cell shading so I guess this is my little middle ground! <3

I also really like the word "pack" soooo there'll be a lot of things with that name in it haha
