Hi!

Time for a new devlog!

I was able to get a very good amount of stuff done these last 3 weeks, some of which I'd kept pushing away for a while now, for whatever reason. Which makes me feel even better now since it's finally taken care of!

The first thing I did was the characters' emotions and animations. Kind of like in Animal Crossing, characters have some kind of particles appear around them depending on how they're feeling (e.g. smoke rising out of their head when they're angry, this kind of thing). They can now feel happy, sad, angry, surprised, scared, etc... I also updated the animations, some can be coupled with the emotions, and others are used depending on room transitions, like walking or falling. Some character also have the ability to fly, and even though I don't plan to have that be a mechanic, these characters still have slightly different animations.

Room transition are the second thing I worked on, and I needed to have the new animations to do so. I don't really have much to say about them, since it's more something that looks nice whenever you go from room to room, so I'll just list them: 

- Walk left
- Walk right
- Walk  left (new area)
- Walk right (new area)
- Go upstairs
- Go downstairs
- Fall
- Teleport

On top of that, the name of the area will be displayed when you enter a new area.

Finally, I made some improvements to the cursor in exploration mode. As you progress through the story, you will unlock new abilities, such as being able to grab, break, set on fire and more, which will allow you to access new areas and solve puzzles. You can switch between each cursor type by using the mouse wheel.

I'd talk more about each one in detail, but I think I want to keep this a surprise so I'll stop here.

Next, I'm going do the pre battle menu, mode to mode transitions, and then as many more menus as I can. If I'm done with all of them before the next update, I'll begin to work on the alchemy mode, but that might be a bit of a stretch, we'll see.
