Just thinking out loud. What about inviting him to some big party and when he notices there are all sorts of different people around and asks about 'their superiority' and such. Mink convinces him that they have the ability to either change their forms or outright reincarnate so 'they' could be anyone all over the world rather than applying to a singular outer appearance. Just to try and get him to start thinking that it's the soul/mind that matters rather than the body. Cause once the 'bodily superiority and appearance' part is out of the way then it becomes much more a matter of obeying who Mink tells him is an ally or enemy rather than him basing it off his strict notions of looks.
