On Saturday the 16th at 8:00 AM, my right lung collapsed. I was taken to an emergency care facility where an x-ray identified I had spontaneous pneumothorax. My lung ruptured and spilled excess oxygen into my chest cavity, preventing the lung from fully expanding all the way and shortening my breathing. My brother took me to the hospital where I had a tube inserted into the side of my body and through my rib cage to access the chest cavity area and had the air suctioned out. Because I was young and didn't have a history of smoking, the doctor initially believed I'd recover within a night. Unfortunately when they attempted to remove suction from the tube, my lung collapsed again. They tried the same method within a three day period and I was able to recover fully. This was about a 5 day set back for the month.

My roommate during the day my lung collapsed had a flight to catch but was able to call 911 during the incident. I was planning on visiting family with my brother and sister-in-law so after the emergency, he was immediately available to drive me where I needed to go. What was unfortunate however is that he also caught covid beforehand and tested positive the day after I was placed in ER, making him unavailable to take care of me (he luckily did not spread it to me). My mom ended up having to drive down and stay with prior neighbors to make sure I was properly discharged and taken home (whose company I am not very fond of).

So, I'm sure many of you can understand that I am in no state to be making 3 animated rewards this month. I will still see if I can at least finish the one I had worked on before the month ends, but as of right now, I have an uninsured hospital bill to take care of, a sick brother and sister-in-law who need me, a car that needs to be inspected and reregistered, and insurance to look for as I still need to see doctors during my recovery period.

I'm late to the party with reading a few updates, but I'm so glad to hear you're okay!
