I want to take this time to discuss the functionality of my Patreon to help disclose to everyone what's to be expected from being a patron.

Polls are launched from the start of each month to choose a character that will be depicted in an art piece near the end of the month. This means that $2 - $4 each month is spent on having one reward with varying alterations.

Patreon is not my primary source of income and because of this, its importance is secondary to my commission business. However, my goal is to make it my primary business which will lead to more time being lent to doing other projects or more artwork and rewards. My goal right now is to reach two grand a month where by then, I'll be completely dependent on doing Patreon full time.

The start of each month, a poll is launched for the future reward. While waiting for the poll results to come through, I do commission work until I'm midway through the month (usually the 15th) where I'll start work on the Patreon reward and by the second to last day or the last day of the month, the reward will be published.

Aside from funding, time is a resource I'm struggled to utilize. Most commissions I have on hand have been getting more and more expensive with each picture almost qualifying as a Patreon reward with how much work is being filtered into each piece. I plan to move away from this gradually by diminishing the amount of commissions I take a month by one as to eventually pull myself away from the work and start easing more into Patreon content.

Now for those not in the know, not ALL of my artwork is on Patreon. I post whatever free art I can muster up on Tumblr, Twitter, and FurAffinity. Twitter is also where I post updates on art related things so if you have any concerns on progress or previews, I usually filter that information there.

"Why not host all of your artwork here on Patreon?"

Because the role for Patreon is that everything hosted here is through a Paywall. I want the content on Patreon to warrant being supported and specialized as a paid product. Posting art that's already free on my social media here would defeat that purpose.

Patreon for me, by the end of the day, is not work, it's an opportunity for me to make something that I can enjoy doing and still get paid to do so. However I have to treat work with more importance until I'm absolved from doing it entirely. I'm hoping that some day next year I'll be working full time here.

With news related to content, I'm working on the Chad picture for June at the moment. The Jorgen muscle growth comic part two will also be featured down the line as bonus content (though that depends on how much free time I have on hand) and once I get a successful SFM reward out as a bonus feature, I'll be sure to have it be a monthly reward as well.

Try not to overwork yourself, it sounds like you're doing a lot in addition to that.

Your work is so appreciated tbh, so you, having made this schedule/plan for yourself, is already fantastic. You knowing what you want to do and how you're going to tackle it is really fantastic, and I wait eagerly for every piece of artwork you create, however long that wait needs to be.

You could always consider posting larger versions of the stuff you post publicly as well. That would be a great incentive for some people.
