Great chapter forty, I will say, I'm very curious about Brian's need to draw lines. Things can't just be for him, they have to be good things or bad things. Hopefully the conversation with Steph will help him sort that out. This is definitely a really interesting dilemma they're in. The girls' lives are so much better now than they were pre-charm, and I think that's really obvious, but at the same time, it is a mental influence, which will put into question everything that they are to Brian, especially because they didn't tell him about it, which breaks allllllllll sorts of trust barriers.
