But wait, where's the June Environments?! For whatever reason, our background artist closed that type of commission for the time being (he only has "food illustration" open right now). All the references are compiled and ready, and the budget set aside for them hasn't been touched, so as soon he returns to illustrating backgrounds we'll be ready with work for him.

If he's still gone by September, I'll suck it up and find another artist with a similar illustration style. I'm just loathe to do so, as this guy is really great to work with.

For those who didn't see, our character artist Zaph finished up our third commission (sitting version Steph) you can see here. He also did some fixes for us, so standing version Steph's Flamituff dress now covers her panties, he redrew the nightshirt she wears, and did some minor tweaks to her expression.

Kinetic Backgrounds

Leaning towards the kinetic novel option for July will focus on scene direction that follows the AnimeCon Harem story, but somewhat has less utility in a game with branching paths.

Visual Backgrounds

This route would focus on scenes that encourage the player to explore the convention environment with more freedom, like a visual novel. Will possibly have to start arranging these to fit to a "map" that could possibly be a game user interface.

Sherriott Backgrounds

An expansion themed around the hotel that Stephanie and Megan booked for AnimeCon. A more 'traditional' modern hotel setting, rather than the cabana/motel style accommodations of the hotel Brian stays at.
