Writing for a Living (Patreon)

August is just about here, this is it. I'm still making less than five hundred a month through Patreon, but I've suppressed all of my spending down to bare minimums and invested the last of the money I'd earned from my past job in home repair and setting up a workspace I can use as a home office.

I'm going to start with a quota of writing a minimum of two thousand words a day, while keeping an organized table of the different projects I'm sinking those into. I may not post here daily, but I expect to get into a schedule of publishing several finished or near-finished things a week.

When my writing stalls and I get hung up somewhere (my largest problem), I'm going to try to shift tracks and work on something else entirely, with the goal of at the very least continuing to write something. I have a lot of stories in my head equal to AnimeCon Harem, and I more or less recognize that this period of my life, right now, is likely the only chance I'll ever have to actually write for a living and put any of those ideas to the pen.
