Hey guys ! This is a refined sketch of one of my killjoy( a group name for some of my ocs) ocs Hayato Warbrute who is cocky and confident , little bit dumb and likes to fight , probably more than is good for him and with lack of thought :D also he has great pecs and a slim mid section

thanks for sticking with me while I whined about not feeling well. Heres a sketch I did while watching youtube documentaries to help me get back into the groove because nothing gets you into the groove like murder documentaries or MTV's Catfished ahahah. Anyway I have a version of this sketch that goes down further and reveals a piece of meat that some might like to see .. also a bulge version OWO . I've begun shading Koujaku so that should be done tomorrow !

Wow, Gasaiv, this is looking awesome! The faces are still looking a *little* off (I can't describe it precisely, sorry), but fuck! That waist! Holy frijoles! Dude! The waist and stomach is like (perfecto!) and the abs are definitely improving from your earlier works, and the arms! Manifique! 😙😎 Bravo! 🙇👏👏👏👏👏👏 Keep it up! It's awesome seeing how much you and everyone improves with each work! 😵😁 Like, bravo! If I had to say anything, I'd say that the structural rendering of the abs look so chiseled and rigid (line wise), like they were a 3D force to behold, but the face looks a little flat and underdeveloped by comparison. It's not intended as a negative criticism (I work to *not* do that as it kills motivation), but I want to emphasize just how sharp, crisp, and highly perspective those abs look! They look like they are about to fall off of the page (or coincidentally, that the mid drift is real). Likewise, the arms/shoulders are looking better and better. And the pecs too! I'm no expert and refrain from claiming such. But, I just want to emphasize just how much better you're getting, and that despite your illness and clearly overworked schedule (damn slave drivers!) You've managed to improve your skills yet again! I expect the army to be likewise panting in their typically expectant patterns! :D Alright, later! Time to hit the gym, make some food, and *finally* crack into those tutorials on drawing (since I, OMG!!!, am feeling *good* today! 😂😂😂😂😂😂😜) the human figure! Hahahaha! Take care of yourself, dude! And sorry for being two bankrupt/broke to donate! Ack! If I could, I would, but I figured that besides getting Sakami's tutorials [and those comics I've been reading--SO GOOD 😭😭😭], I should help promote the kiddos who are making great strides in their comics, but are getting like, zero support. 😢😤😭 Poor kiddos! But, hey, maybe I'll magically earn a living and be able to support other artists! Hahahaha! (wouldn't that be nice.... Not only being to put $10 in the tank cuz I broke... Hahahaha!) Anyhow, take care dude! TTYL and have a safe, restful night! :D

Edit: Re the face. OK, correction. Sorry, I'm trying to remember what it looks like while I on the tablet. Um... Not "flat" per se, more like the skull looks subtly off. You know what... ignore me... I'm fired and shouldn't attempt to comment unless I can simultaneously look at a work... [goes and hides in "shame box". =P ]

Though, the ears and hair look badass [is that weird to say about ears? =P Hahaha], specially that hairdo! It's like, BANG! :D

GasaiV

thanks thanks! the face is a little flat and I think the whole composition is flawed due the how the hair is set up , it makes the head look elongated ? not sure :D but I will try and get better at faces n such

I'll go through those videos and grab you a list that should help with head construction. Though, I suggest checking out the Structure of man series. All the major US FX and Animation studios were fawning over it.

Sorry, I wrote a more detailed reply earlier, but the damn Patreon app deleted it *again.* 😭😭😭

I wouldn't necessarily blame the hair, but the chin, jaw, and eyes (basically, the 3/4 profile looks a bit wonky) feel skinny. Take your hand and cover up the hair and look at the skull itself. Look a little bit too elven to you, but without the slender features too? Try flipping it upside down and rotating it. Take a sheet of paper and cover the hair. Tell me what you see. Then we can inspire mutual perfectionist grumblings...! 😅😂😜

Also, the eyes look to flat. They don't curve enough around the skull's topography. I know this is a math nerd solution, but take a sheet of paper of the human skull or of a person's face (hell, it can be your own), now, tape it to a big coffee can or something curved. Look at it flat, now look at it curving. Topography (a field in mathematics) teaches us how surfaces change when we bend them over specific forms. I think taking the front view of your drawing and then bending it around an actual surface, since the paper and your view of it will help to demonstrate how objects curve in real space, so when you go to draw it, you can have a better idea. You have to practice the spacial reasoning of the curvature. You've gotten really good at this with abs and stuff cuz (you glorious smut producer! 😂😜!) you've learned enough about how they actually look in three dimensional space. You've invented them in your mind, like you did with those fine asses that the fudanshis and fujoshis drool like crazy over! Now, you've got to practice visualizing the curvature of the face and certain aspects of the neck and shoulders. I mean, another solution is to make 10 bodies and a bag (someone who's body is beautiful, but who has an f-ed up, culturally speaking, face, so you can find them attractive in a *terribly* objectified way if you put a brown paper bag on their head. Guys used to do this in the old days as part of fraternities. I learn about it from my dad. I know... Horrible. So, I suppose if you wanted to reverse it for guys and make brown bag bishonens, you could, but I say try practicing invention. My Chinese professional mangaka friend, QQC said that the advanced head tutorials that are part of the Structure of Man series were even too advanced for her (she got a headache trying to follow), so I'd suggest running through the series. There's also two from Gnomen Workshop too. And if you want, I even have a book and two series that could help with the crazy ass advanced perspective changes in topography (though they are more for industrial design, they are fracking badassly detailed and are written by head faculty at Art Center in Pasadena, and are two books that cover drawing and rendering, and have videos accompanying them! Fu! Fu! Fu!). Hahaha! I sorta have a badass library that I need to actually use... I also have books covering the Classical Academy that could be applied to this stuff too... And a book just on hands, and another on figure drawing. Ack... No wonder I'm broke... Hahaha.
