When I was with the company everyone who worked at Magic Kingdom got to sign a pillar that was used for the Tron coaster. That everyone included the very good dog who was a service dog for one of the Main Street cast members. So at least they are consistant with how they treat service dogs of employers I guess?

Dog has incredible sense of smell and I bet those costume characters have a pretty intense collection of smells. That is my theory why the dog shows excitement with things like a wagging tail.
