Hey everyone! The Discord admins and I have been trying to better understand all of you wonderful people, and as we try to adjust and deliver more consistent perks, I'm specifically curious about why you contribute to our channel. Thank you!

maybe it's because i'm at the lowest level and can't see everything, but i, generally speaking, have no idea what the hell is happening in the discord

I am here to support the videos but have never been able to join the Discord Chats - and you are listed in my linked channels, but I can never find the chats when they are going on - maybe send us clearer directions? Not an idiot, but probably need clearer directions on your connect emails. (I'm an Idiot).

Thanks for asking! I'm totally happy to just support the videos, and I don't enjoy Discord in general, so I don't check that out. It would be cool to receive updates sometimes, even if they're not 'perks', such as announcements on what the next video will be (even if it's just a title, even if this info can be found in the Discord channels).

It's a chat messenger with rich group functionality. For "old" users, it's very much like IRC chats. Channels, bots. Also I think sound chats? AFAIK it fits great for gaming and RPG groups or coordination efforts.
