Patreon Payment Issues / Declines (Patreon)

"Update - We've traced the slightly elevated decline rates back to payments infrastructure upgrades required by one of our payment processing partners. Patrons might see some payments declined while changes take effect through the payments ecosystem. If you do:
Contact your card issuer to confirm the charge is valid and retry that card, or, if that does not work, try a different payment method
We're deeply sorry for the inconvenience this causes creators and their patrons."

So either contact your bank to confirm the charge is valid, try a different payment method if your current method of payment doesn't work or wait to see if the changes take effect and your payment is processed automatically. Hopefully everything will be back to normal soon!

Apparently there is a site-wide issue with payouts and payments, which might mean your normal pledge is declined. If this is happening to you, wait until the issue is resolved before attempting to pledge again.

Note that I'm working on Annie's 2nd Deluxe, so I won't be publishing anything for at least a week (likely longer than that XD), so you're not missing anything for now. I'll do another post when Patreon says everything has been resolved. Let me know if you've been affected by this issue!
