Quickie Update—What's goin' on, Dim? (Patreon)

Hey folks! Yikes, almost a week without a post from me, huh? I hope you enjoyed your email inbox not being flooded by my overlong posts for a little bit. :) 

Anyway, as we near the end of the month, and for the benefit of newer patrons (hey there :O ), here's what I'm up to and currently going on: 

* Lots of progress has been made on Janet's 2nd Deluxe! It'll feature a little mini-game of sorts, which I'm just about to start coding and will comprise the majority of content for her 2nd Deluxe (with a few other tummy scenes, of course). As a rough estimate, I'm 40-50% completed with the animation. I highly doubt it will be finished for the end of the month, so don't expect it to release in November. Welp! But that brings me to my next point...

* As usual, my Patreon is on hiatus in December. This means you do not need to delete your pledges, because you will not be charged when the 1st comes around! If you do unpledge, you will be charged if you repledge in December, so don't say I didn't warn you! Of course, when Janet's animation is finished, I will still send it out to all November Deluxe patrons, so if you do unpledge (for whatever reason), you will still get it. Keep an eye out for it! 

* Saa's idea suggestion post is still live, but I will be launching the poll to decide her animation content before the month ends. If you still want to get an idea in, you have a few days to do so! I'll begin making Saa's animations sometime in December. 

* Fawn's Is This Yours? animation has another poll running to decide what happens next, and depending on the winning option, I may run another poll but we'll see. Once I've finished Janet's animation, I'll begin making Fawn's animation. Note that Is This Yours? does not have Deluxe episodes, so don't expect one. 

* A new Gifday poll is live. Pick a sketch for me to turn into an animated gif! You have five days to help decide, so don't delay!

* A character suggestion post is live for Gifday polls that will start in January. If you want the chance to see a character of your choice get an animated gif, make sure to suggest a name before the month ends! You can also suggest again in December, so make sure to get your money's worth!

* Recently, I've been thinking about what content I make (especially in regards to Saa's upcoming animated pin-ups), and while I still love the topic of pregnancy, I'm contemplating branching out a bit. What do I mean by this? I'm considering animations that focus on other forms of expansion / body focus, such as breast / butt / thigh expansion, or just simply a female form in general. Of course, a variety of options will be presented to patrons, and if patrons vote for pregnancy every time, then that is what I will make. But I love the female form in general, and I realise that my animations don't have to feature pregnancy for me to have fun making them. That said, there are certain topics that aren't for me (extreme weight gain, vore, flatulence, to name a few), but in the future, I'll entertain some tangential topics that involve women that aren't strictly pregnancy. I'll experiment with this idea in the new year, perhaps with the Gifday gifs. Let me know how you feel about this idea of branching out my content!

Someone told me that you had a poll a long time ago for birth content and the patrons overwhelming voted against it which is why you rarely do it. Would you ever consider reintroducing previous polls for your newer patrons to weigh in on periodically? I heard you almost made an animation of Lady Dimitrescu birthing one of her adult daughters, and my heart hurts knowing that it never came to pass.

It's kind of a niche topic, but have you thought of doing more giantess + pregnancy content? The animation you did of Mt Lady was really hot

I didn't do one specific poll asking about birth content, but in almost all story polls with a birth option, people never voted for birth, and with the one animation that people voted overwhelmingly for birth (Milky), I received a significant amount of messages (probably the most correspondence I've ever received XD) along the lines of "good luck with the animation, but I won't be watching it", and my patron count dropped to the lowest level it's been for quite a long time. (Add to this that the only comments I received about Milky were "will there be expansion?" made it very clear this was not going to be a popular animation) Add to this that some birth animations I made that I feel were some of my best work received almost no response from anyone and I lost interest in offering birth as content people can vote on. You have no idea how much time and effort I put into Milky's or Jessie's multiple birth sequences, and to release them to little response or comments really dampens my enthusiasm for making it. I'm not saying I make things purely for comments or praise, but to receive little to no response does send a particular message to me: this isn't the content most people want. Which is totally fair, birth is not for everyone. Compared to other creators, my birth content isn't that popular or well received, so it has been relegated to something I make when I feel like making it, or when it feels right to add to a bigger project (for example, Yor's animation). I receive a few comments like yours who wish I would return to regular birth stuff, but when I do post birth stuff, these people are nowhere to be found XD. Here's the metaphor I have regarding my birth stuff: it's like when a band plays a certain song, and during that song the audience goes to the bathroom, or to the bar. From the band's perspective, the song isn't popular, and feels bad to play to an empty room, so they just stop playing it that often. It's sad, but that's how it is. I'm sorry I'm not playing your favourite song, but playing a song that you know will empty the room is depressing, and somewhat futile. tl;dr: birth will still sometimes happen, but only when I feel like it. Unless the status quo drastically changes, this is how it will be for the foreseeable future.

I suppose to answer your question directly, I could well do a poll asking if people want more birth content. But the fact I rarely ever receive questions / requests for more birth speaks clearer than any poll.

Seeing as both Rihanne and Janet have had giantess expansions, I'm not that opposed to it XD And I also had fun with Mt. Lady's animation, so giantess stuff is fine with me

Alright, now for the hat trick. You've done giantess expansions, you've done (some) unbirth content, have you ever thought of doing giantess unbirth leading into pregnancy? In terms of combinations, if it comes up in a poll and wins, then sure. But unbirth tends to lose if it's in the running against pregnancy. As a concept though, I'm not opposed to making it (as long as the concept makes sense from the character's perspective and I can actually animate it XD )

We're here and happy when you post birth content, but apparently not as vocal in the responses. Considering it's what put you on the map in the first place it would be nice to see more. Also, seconding a wish for the complete Lady D animation.

I think a very easy foray would be weight gain sans pregnancy. Your WG expansion sequences are among the most popular even among pregnancy content, and I feel that you too enjoy the weight gain/gluttony aspect given that it is the most common subvariation you do other than pregnancy expansion itself.

A little weight gain as an early symptom of pregnancy is nice, but I'm not particular a fan of gluttony for gluttony's sake or descriptions of people eating. So the potential for weight gain focused stuff is there, but if you're expecting KipTeiTei or BetterWithSalt levels of weight gain / focus, then you might be disappointed XD I prefer expansion over stuffing / weight gain

Since we are on the topic of branching off can you make a animation involving just butt expansion (no thighs), I like to see you try and make a good bubble butt. Here is something else to try branching off of, have you tried make say one of your characters to take a pregnancy test on the loo 🚻? Closest I have seen your characters do that is Luna in your old Master animation. Just a thought.

This isn't really a request post XD I'm just mentioning the idea of branching out, I'll let patrons know what content I intend to make alongside pregnancy and when I intend to do it As for a bubble butt, it's not out of the question, but I tend to prefer butt / hip / thigh expansion as a package. But we'll see what happens in the future.

would not mind seeing more breast focused expansions derived from pregnancy expansions or just breast focused in general :D sounds like a neet thing
