As you may have noticed, my last few animations have featured little to no dialogue, and instead had speech bubbles with pictures or emoji in them (in the future, I'm going to use less emoji and more pictures) in a bid to make them a little more accessible to non-English speakers. Plus, I'm tired of my own voice, and there's been more than a few comments about me ruining the animations with too much typing. XD

But as you folks are supporting me, it seems fair to go by what you prefer to see. So—do you like me not cluttering the animations with dialogue, or do you miss the dialogue? If the poll is tied, I'll go with what I feel is best. So far, no one seems to mind the change, but I could be wrong. My use of pictures to denote emotions / thoughts is definitely not perfect yet, but I'm slowly getter a better handle on it. IMO.

I won't be offended with whatever you pick. I can do either. Maybe I'll do a version with dialogue and a version without. That could work too XD

Notes: not doing dialogue saves me a lot of time, with the plus that the recorded videos are shorter (no dialogue = less time required to let you guys read the text)

I think what the dialogue brought that (to me personally) feels missing is the sense of storytelling. Your way of writing dialogue was very engaging and added an element to the story that gave us a chance to connect with the characters better! Unfortunately, emojis can’t seem to grasp that just as well. :^o However, at the end of the day, I enjoy all content you produce! So whichever route you do end up deciding on, I wish you much luck! :3

I can probably just use dialogue for the occasional moments when a good opportunity arises, or only use dialogue if it's brief, lest it fill it up the screen. Still considering my options! However, even if I don't use dialogue, emojis aren't quite the perfect replacement. I'll try to use facial expressions / pictures I drew myself rather than emojis if I can.

I appreciate you trying to reach a broader audience but you've done a good job conveying personality with your earlier speech that it would be hard watching Janet not say anything in the future to her best little assistant.

I think the way forward might be using dialogue for certain things but trying to convey other thoughts / emotions through gestures / facial expressions / speech bubble pictures. A mixture of everything might work! But I definitely don't want to go back to walls of text, I don't think anyone enjoyed that XD

I think dialogue really depends on how much story there is. If you made it a bit character driven, dialogue can definitely help a lot. But you also don't want to overexplain stuff because then it can get distracting from the content.

I agree on this, dialogue or no dialogue is a stylistic choice and therefore is up to you as the artist.

For me I always liked the dialog, you've got a fantastic tongue-in-cheek tone that I enjoy! To be honest my issue was always when the animation frames lasted too long between the dialog, which might be an issue on my end

I like dialogue, because I feel like it helps with story telling. For most of your stuff though, the sound effects suffice. That being said occasional voice acting would be cool.

If you're talking about in the videos, I do that on purpose to let people read the text. In the HTML5 files though, it's probably just lag unfortunately :( They lag for me too, it's the bane of my existence...

Voice acting won't happen very often because 1) most VAs don't do fetish work 2) it would increase the duration between releases a lot 3) I'm very shy and would be mortified just asking them to star in my weirdo animations, let alone read my ham-fisted dialogue .__. I won't rule it out, but highly unlikely!

Understandable, I’d rather have less time between releases anyways.
