One of the many episodes that endeared Killua to me. Man is trying to give up the assassin life, but if you mess with his friends… he wants all the smoke.

umi

Wow your guys’ observation of how using Gyo might leave other parts of your body vulnerable is impressive

the "rubber and gum" is a meme you will understand by the time you finish anime. it is sad that people have no constraint to let people get to conclusions on their own and have to tease and mock. well "Mock" is bit harsh but it is annoying how many people love to sneak it subtle spoilers thinkink they are slick. on the bright side this one specific instance is nothing as big as my comment is making it out to be but my point still stands. in this case it is just innocent memeing but you will see what i talked about in due time

Cayseron

im glad SOMEONE mentions how strong that fishing rod is. people keep saying stuff about how cool killua is or how strong gon is etc. but noone takes a moment to mention how instanely strong that rod is. the fact fishing line did not snap or hook unattach is the achievement in the league of its own. also tv being able to record nen :D

ya'll are taking me out with the fruit analogy XD

cant wait to see what the caption for the next two eps...

Reid Dawson

I really don’t think it’s that deep, It’s simply the biggest meme in HxH there’s no spoiling intentions involved.

Cayseron

i mean "It's not that deep" is a cowards excuse. its like saying "X is my favorite character" in episode 3 where said character did nothing and there is no inclinations that they are going to be relevant at all. or saying "cant wait for season X episode Y" when speaking about certain character thus bringing up expectations about said character and also making a point that they will have a moment in the future... its nuanced and yes you can say "it's not that deep" but also counter-argument, maybe let people get into the meme before overusing it cause its influencing their expectations or ruining experience... i can go on and on, bottom line is yes it CAN be that deep, people just choose to ignore it

Reid Dawson

I am in complete agreement with you on every point made, although in this particular “rubber and gum” meme situation, I truly do think it is, not that deep. Agree to disagree though it’s alright

Cayseron

no, i completely agree this one specific instance is not as big of a deal as i did point out in first comment :)

i do think in the hunterpedia they do talk slower at some point and theyre a little longer

Very interesting observations about Gon’s psyche

Ok Great

the soundtrack during Killua's fight is one of his themes. His VA sings the version with the vocals

To me it seems like Killua doesn't like killing people because it's what his parents expect from him, while he wants to decide for himself what he wants. I don't see him having a problem with the morality of killing. I also believe this is the reason why Gon caught so much of his attention, since freedom was the thing he had the least, and Gon has the most.
