Guys I don't think you know how hot-take-y your "Rem is not best girl" comment is. I think you just re-awakened a 2017 internet war and all sorts of gate-wars. for better or worse. ps: While I apprecite certain other characters, I still liked Rem here > emilia, but there was something about Ram though and how brutally honest and transparent she is about being the badass girl in the room... but that could be my masochistic side kicking in :P

Try to remember that the story Subaru was telling was from HIS world so it wasn't literally about Rem/Ram, Ram just noticed some parallels between it and her life. I don't want you to take it TOO literally. Also, the actual word Subaru uses for the title of the fairy tale is "Oni" which translates to "Demon." So, yeah. Lastly, I am ALL FOR you guys pausing the episode when you feel like you have to dive into a mid-episode discussion. That's much more satisfying than watching you guys look away from the screen during dialogue.
