when i first watched mp100, i thought dimple was a fun but untrustworthy side-character; so imagine my surprise when I found myself CRYING over him protecting mob and sacrificing himself 😭 and then when mob started to cry in the end credits....oh it destroyed me

Damn it, every time I watch EP6, I tear up. Reigen may be the best shishou/teacher to Mob, but Dimple was most definitely his best friend. Although he didn't realize it, Dimple always showed that he cared for Mob as he gave his honest opinions whenever Mob was worried about something. This was clearly depicted with Mob's monkey-shirt, where everyone kind of tip-toed around the thought that it was a hideous shirt, but without telling him; then, Dimple sees it and gives it to him straight for what it is, a lame shirt. The animation is so good as well. In terms of favorite episode, this sits just above S2's Mogami arc. The way Dimple brainwashes and sends Mob home was so touching, as Dimple waves to him goodbye in reassurance that everything is fine. And the episode ends with Mob figuring out how everything concluded at the Divine Tree, and that Dimple is no more. SHEESH, someone do something about these ninjas with their onions... I'm about to tear up just from writing this. Sorry, but can I give it up for Dimple's VA, who is one of my favorite VA's (out of the dozens of other favorites that I have 😅), Akio Otsuka. Love how you can hear his voice breaking when he yells out some of his "Godly" moves. You guys only know him as Thorkell, but he's plays a lot of amazing characters in anime and games (Snake in Metal Gear series). If you guys ever watch Fate/Zero, you will understand. Looking forward to seeing the dimples Ange 🔴👃🔴

just wanted to point out that mob got to 100% just like with all other emotions we've seen with him so far, and then you find out its 100% trust he has in dimple, dont know if you guys caught that in the moment but yeah

Y'all gotta give Carlie more appreciation and credit! She rightly predicted that Dimple was gonna sacrifice himself and is always actively engaging with the material. Plus, her reactions to wholesome scenes are so wholesome themselves ;-;

whenever carlie gets emotional i always break like a dam 💔 i love how heartfelt and truly touched she gets, especially with her understanding of the characters and their motivations always being on point

What hurts the most is that it was always Dimple wish to put mind control on Shigeo early on when they met. And this time when he actually manages to do it, he saves him. That's why I love Dimple so much, he is Shigeo's honest friend from day one, even if he's a bit weird sometimes.
