Watch closely how Nami said to Kaya she had never lost someone because I think the actress did a good job at discreetly expressing she was lying xD.

I love these reactions, man this is so much fun! Also next episode plot twist is going to be sooo good! The boat is very iconic. But the black thing with Zoro is actually live action original. In fact the whole dress up party thing and the friendship between Kaya and Nami is live action original. Usopp's story is pretty different but it is very long (and drags a bit if I'm being honest in the anime) so I'm glad they did these changes. The main plot beats are still the same Kuro is an ass who wants to kill Kaya, Usopp's lying leads to no one believing him stuff like that. Still out of the main guys we see in this season Usopp's story is the one that had the most changes. Some good, and some a little sad they left out but I'm mostly happy with it! Also if you notice the opening logo changes to fit which character they are going to focus on. So first episode we had Luffy, second episode we had Buggy, and this episode its Usopp (you can see his slingshot and his iconic long nose, though obviously no one in real life has a nose that long). I think you guys will really like the next one!

Episode 3 and 4 are completely different from the anime (I get it… budget) Even if you don’t watch the whole anime defs watch the syrup village arc (Episode 9-18) and see why we really love Usopp… bit you won’t be able to stop.

I love the live action, it’s brought so many new fans from the live action alone. The only sad thing is anime onlys hating on the show to try push people to watch the anime when all it does is give people a negative outlook on one piece all together so be careful with that and don’t mind them 🥰🫶

also i don't want to compare the anime to the live action since the live action is restricted to a budget, but in the anime instead of each episode being different, it's arcs that span to sometimes short sometimes long sets of episodes. each arc it's a completely different vibe, from culture to conflict to cast of characters. it makes it feel like you are truly experiencing this grand adventure along with the crew. the anime takes you from before they land on an island, to the crew simply hanging out, then to them realizing the conflict that island is going through to them fighting the big bad of that arc. it always felt so rewarding finishing an arc and a weird sense of pride. would love to see you guys actually jump into the anime someday
