Volleyball positions are composed of Wing Spikers (Main attackers/scorer). Middle Blockers or Middle Hitters (Blockers and fast attackers). Setters (Playmakers) and Libero (Main defender). In the series, the position of each characters who had already made their appearance are: Hinata and Tsukishima (Middleblocker), Kageyama and Sugawara (Setter), Daichi and Tanaka (Wing Spikers). There are also other special positions such as Ace, Decoys and Pinch Servers. All of it will be tackled in the series.

I used to be not interested in Volleyball at all, but recently I've been watching official Volleyball competitions, and of course I support Japan national team, they're currently one of the best teams in the world! If you want to feel the hype of volleyball, you can watch some of "Yuji Nishida" spikes. So, to help clear some things up about how the school team works: The grade-levels in Japanese highschools are 1st, 2nd, and 3rd years. From my understanding, the schools have a single team per sport with students from all three years playing together (Genuinely curious, is this different in Australia?). So, they're not divided by student grade-level. Good to see Ange rocking not only the hoodie but also the Karasuno Jersey straight after the 1st episode. Funny that you guys mentioned how whenever you guys went to play against other schools, the people there would be complete douches to you. Same thing at my school in the US 😂Maybe not as aggressive as your guys' schools, but you would see kids from both schools shit talking each other as they walk by.

It's also worth paying attention to the fact that the third year members of the club are about to graduate high school to enter college or the work force.
