An instrument that's easy to overlook but one that has gradually become a core part of my sound over the past several years - this week I'm recording Hammond organ, and oh boy is this medley full of it. So much that not a single track out of the 20 doesn't have it! Out of all the instruments I've recorded so far, the organ has probably been the most enjoyable to work on - there's something about the sound that just makes it so fun to play. Here's a little snippet from a track where it takes center stage as the featured instrument as opposed to sitting in the background like it usually is. Hope you dig it!
