As promised last week, I put in some thought about how to communicate where things are. I don't have a timeline, but I do have a roadmap!

I have a coding stream starting now! If you miss the stream, VODS are also available. ('Videos' tab at the top.)

To new patrons: We’re in the middle of an absurdly-long update cycle. Here’s the summary and how to access content.

The roadmap

Gonna just lay out where we are, where we’re going, and what to expect. The red text is where we are now. Please excuse the school project vibes of this >.>’

Afterward, I have a loose plan which is bound to change based on the situation:

Will start with bug fixing for initial release.

Then move into mechanics expansion paired with new content, which might look like this:

Expand upon a single game mechanic (like clothing interactions), paired with data content (e.g. more personality, expressions, and varieties centered around clothing), plus rig/animation content (clothing assets, updates and polish on a single character, a new character).

Instead of just dropping a ton of characters, I’d like to expand upon existing ones, and add new ones slowly at first, so that there are a lot of well-polished body shapes and varieties. I want all the characters in the game to be buildable from scratch from within the game. So adding new characters will be adding new customizations, and possibly new mechanics centered around them.

Major feature additions after initial release are currently planned in this order:

  • Portals
  • Npc kink training, time passage, and progression mechanics
  • Brewable potions as a replacement to the old ‘spells’.

So, what's being worked on now?

Stimulation

Real quick update here. I’ve got the entire stimulation chain -> sensation -> npc state built. Now I’ll be testing things, wiring it up, and adding reactions. Dunno how far I’ll get into this, but I’ll be doing that on stream today.

Since it’s such a complicated chain of cause -> effect, and I want it to feel responsive and accurate, I’m gonna be building an in-game tweaking and testing tool where you can input any stimulation, sensations, AI input, etc, and see the whole chain of effects.

Next are reactions, which is an umbrella category that includes state progression (building toward orgasm, orgasming, etc), visuals (expressions, animations), and other game effects (bodily reactions).

Then it’s AI. AI is kind of part of all of these things, since the data flow is the same as the stimulation chain. It’s just that instead of physical touches providing the input, it’s the npc’s perception that generates it. So all I have to do at this point is deal with the looking/hearing/perception code. The old versions already have this, so it’ll be a combination of copying and refactoring.

… and that’s all for now!

Thank you all for following me on this absurd journey. I can't believe you're still here, but as long as you are, I'll happily keep going until this game is awesome.

Now I'm curious as to how the potions will work, and what you'd need to brew them. I can think of multiple very interesting ways they could be used. 😁

"Please excuse the school project vibes of this >.>" That's still more than most content creators give. I think why waiting so long has never bothered me is that, not only do you give us plenty of dev logs, it's also quite concise with the given information.. You never treat us like mushrooms when you give us updates(i.e., keeping us in the dark and feeding us a load of crap.) Seriously can't wait to see it all in action.
