Love Collector back in production :3 (Patreon)

Quick update on Love Collector progress! BB is pretty busy, but will draw up the Twilight rig for Love Collector after Bronycon. In the meantime, I'll be working on Love Collector alongside Secret Horse Files and the comic. 

The immediate goal is to finish up the features added into the Rainbow Dash update and put together a public release. Then I'll be working on dialogue and other additions that'll come alongside the Twilight update. Once Twilight is in place and everything is cleaned up, I'll be declaring Love Collector to be "done", and it'll be fully released for free. After that it might get updated in the future, but you should think of this as the game's final set of updates. 

Why this will be the last set of updates:

First, it's made in Flash. I want to move away from Flash and toward HTML5, which is better and more well-supported. 

Second, as my first game it contains all of my biggest mistakes as a game developer. I had a lot of ideas that were too big for my skillset at the start, and so the game's design and structure are pretty messy compared to SHF. 

Last, I don't want to leave projects in limbo. Love Collector has been on hold for a while in favor of Secret Horse Files, and I don't like leaving people unsure of when I'm going to come back to a project. Better to tell everyone when the game is finished so nobody's left wondering.

BB and I have already talked about what comes next after Love Collector. I can't say much about it yet, but I'm excited to see where that goes. :3
