Hi lads! I was thinking about how can I make my Patreon more entertaining and fun? And I came up with this idea. This is some sort of "Artist diary" where I'm going to talk about changes I did while I was drawing. This is the first kind of this post here, so it might be a little rough. If you like it and want to see more of this please leave your comment down below.

So here are two WIPs of that Rivet art I'm making right now. At first, I wanted to place her in some sort of tropical jungle with a waterfall behind ↓

But then I felt that so many details on the background will be too distracting from the main characters so I decided to make it more simple. And I still want to keep the waterfall behind and continue the stream of it to the foreground ↓

I made a very quick environment study to be more clear on how water and waterfalls work ↓

Also, I realized that leaves don't need to be always green so I turned some of the bushes behind her to red ↓

Now I need to figure out how to render the water and water stream.

I don't know if this information was interesting and if I'm going to continue making this post but It might be some fresh breath.

Love it! it provides a better understanding of how an artwork is created and how much more is done to make it better. Plus - additional WIPs. Keep it up John! <3

I like this idea a lot, really shows how much thought and effort goes into a single piece.
