Some thoughts (Patreon)

Hi lads! I was thinking about how can I make my Patreon more entertaining and fun? And I came up with this idea. This is some sort of "Artist diary" where I'm going to talk about changes I did while I was drawing. This is the first kind of this post here, so it might be a little rough. So here are two WIPs of that Rivet art I'm making right now. At first, I wanted to place her in some sort of tropical jungle with a waterfall behind ↓

But then I felt that so many details on the background will be too distracting from the main characters so I decided to make it more simple. And I still want to keep the waterfall behind and continue the stream of it to the foreground ↓

I made a very quick environment study to be more clear on how water and waterfalls work ↓

Also, I realized that leaves don't need to be always green so I turned some of the bushes behind her to red ↓

Now I need to figure out how to render the water and water stream.

I don't know if this information was interesting and if I'm going to continue making this post but It might be some fresh breath.
