ah, interesting. Wasn't quite what I was thinking for where this was going to go. I kind of thought maybe they might give Alura a call. I don't know if her Mom was an elder demon and maybe she has a fraction of that kind of energy they'd need to travel there and back. However she couldn't take the group to Lu directly, but maybe things might get weird due to maybe not having done this kind of thing before with humans. And perhaps due to magic wibbly wobbly unstableness or something, it sends them to Demon Florida or something...making their journey to rescue Lu a little harder or something.

That sounds like that could be an interesting plot point. Perhaps in the event of needing someone with more persuasion in the group, Phoe has to turn into Onyx to throw off the demons they encounter. Or they find that side of of Phoe easier to talk to and tell stuff they normally wouldn't tell Lu's friend group.
