As the king and his sons came down into the arena I just had two questions before we did battle honestly. "What are the blood rivers and bloodstones actually for... You can't love having your kingdom filled with mad monsters." I asked King Alfridus.

The king gave me an odd look before chuckling and saying. "Aye, having crazy bitches that will just as likely worship you as a god and then in the next instant will try to bite off your manhood isn't that great. But it's rather simple laddie. I am old, I am a simple human who has lived for two millennia and that is only due to the lifeforce of hundreds of people dying every day to fuel my vitality."

I frowned deeply as sure the vitality bit made sense... But there was one slight issue. "Your soul... How has it not degraded yet?" I demanded with Kusanagi sharpening itself as it realized the same as I had.

King Alfridus grinned with his teeth being blood-stained red and without any hesitation he answered frankly. "Haha, how else! I eat all the orphan infants and every once in a while I decide to be a farmer and pluck a nice fresh one directly from some bitches womb."

'Yup... This city burns.' I thought with disgust as I waved my hand and my full army of Terracotta soldiers fell out of my inventory and with all three hundred of them armed with at least some metal armor, a drop armor piece and a celestial bronze weapon or better.

They were all around level twenty-five to thirty at the very least. And taking a deep breath I called out to Kiyohime. "Kiyohime... This Kingdom will burn."

She gave me a long look and seeing how serious I was she nodded and Alfridus's eyes widened as Kiyohime's form became a massive sun in the sky of flames as she began throwing massive pillars of flames into the city to wipe it clean.

All the while as the mad city burned I saw Yuki and Arianna carrying the unconscious nun as they went towards the king's palace out of sight while the king just gave me a look of pure confusion. Which was unsettling as he didn't even look angry at my actions.

"Oi, you know even if you win. There won't be anything to rule if that bitch burns everything to the ground?" He stated with a wry smile as he finally pulled out his weapon from behind his back and it was a massive double-headed axe that radiated danger to my senses and a quick 'Observe' answered as to why.

[Linebreaker- Great Waraxe made from a divine whale's bones and alloyed with Uru metal. Has the rune F̸̡̢̦͎̹̭͔̗̮͎͛͛̓͛̿ǫ̴͉̦̭͇̮̝̎̇́ͅŕ̵̪̗̹̗̹̋̿̌̈́c̷̞̦̙̠̈͊̉̌̈́̆̀̔̒̆͌͠ẹ̸̢̡̛̟͍͜ and the rune Į̷̛̩̪̲̝̹̃́͝͠͠m̸̫̠̓̑͜p̴̤̟̳̮̗̮̍̎͑̀a̷͍̣̟̽̃̂͝c̷̢͙̼̮̑̐͘t̸̻͓͈̬̊̌ on each head of the axe with the Uru Metal allowing both runes to work in tandem without conflict. Note- Made by Skadi and is the half of the key to enter her castle]

'A weapon created by a goddess and carrying two Primordial Runes. That is probably the most dangerous thing I had run across besides Kusanagi.' I thought as I looked at his sons who were both carrying a similar make of a smaller axe that looked like they were meant to be duel-wielded.

But I wasn't that interested in them as King Alfridus's axe was hefted in his hands and then I saw his body lean down as he prepared to charge and as the ground under his feet cracked and cratered beneath the force of his flex of might I leaped into the air with my projected wings taking me further into the air to avoid the massive explosion of dust as the mad king howled with laughter as he jeered. "Oh come on! You refuse to match weapons on the first blow! What kind of warrior are you!?"

To which while flying above him imperiously I called back sarcastically. "The kind that survives his fights."

But before I could get more mouthy a whirling wind rang at me and I looked up and saw a ring of light was flying towards me and so I quickly dodged to the side while wondering if there was a mage or something.

But no in the center of the ring of light was one of the axes from the king's sons that he threw at me and with the spinning axe's high-speed rotations the energy of the primordial runes made it look like a ring of light was coming at me. And the prince also seemed to be able to control the thrown axe as well while it was in the air as it followed after me.

A loud thumping noise rang out and I looked down and my lips twitched as I saw small explosions beneath the king's boots as he ran up through the air as he used touki to make explosions below his feet to push off of to allow him to run across the air.

"Got your own method of flight huh." I muttered to myself as I dodged the thrown axe flying ring of death and then with the king almost atop me first I distracted him by throwing an inventory-summoned knife almost into his face. Which obviously made him flinch ever so slightly from his overhead chopping motion with his great axe.

And then even as he blocked Kusanagi with the shaft of his great axe I used my water elemental that shot out from its hiding position from my wrist making a lasso of water that grabbed the King around the wrist and with a spin from me I used the lasso to throw the king back onto the ground as I fell towards the ground to dodge the spinning flying around the air.

Hitting the ground, the king immediately got back up showing his greater-than-average human durability and seeing me land he grinned and then slammed his axe into the sandy ground of the colosseum, and then from the axe hitting the ground I saw a powerful shockwave spread through the ground I raised up a wind wall to block the tidal wave of sand, bones and other debris that threatened to wash over me.

'To the sides.' Kusanagi warned me and I swung out with Kusanagi in a wide spin making pained groans ring out as her divine winds slammed into the two princes that were battered backwards. And seeing their reaction to blocking Kusanagi's wind blade I realized that although the princes seemed more mentally stable than the champions I fought previously.

'They didn't have the full boost of strength that the champions had from madly taking in Bloodstones.' I thought as my blow cleanly overpowered them and sent the two princes skidding across the ground.

The other prince rushed at me and seeing him trying to bring his axe down onto my head I stepped into his blow with my hand catching the handle of his axe with Kusanagi slamming home through his chest and then sending wind blades to blend up his internal organs making his eyes widen before he collapsed to the ground as his spine was mulched.

Before I could capitalize on killing the last prince as it was clear that the king had made sure they weren't too hopped up on the Bloodstones the King smashed his great axe towards me and knowing the immense force his axe had brought upon the ground earlier.

I didn't match his blow as there was something off with the amount of power he had in his blow. As not even myself using my emperor's blood in my touki and the Raging Dragon Martial Art could cause that much damage.

Using Kusanagi's divine winds as a fulcrum I swung away from the axe swing that cratered the ground like it just wasn't even there. 'That axe's rune must have something to do with force or something.' I thought before my eyes widened as the other prince had picked up the dead princes other axe and I was right about them previously.

Those axes were a set and I could see his aura rising with him holding both of the axes.

I took a deep breath as I took in the prince and the king who went towards my sides in unison and I couldn't help but notice that the king and the prince did have a synergy born of years of training together.

But that training, their beyond human strength, durability and even their reliance on the Primordial Rune's covering those weapons led to a major issue.

As the prince brought his axes down towards me in a slightly altered path that would stagger the blows so get around Kusanagi I took full advantage of the major weakness they both had.

My hand covered in the white scales of Albion stabbed forward and the princes eyes widened as Kusanagi's divine and wind and a powerful controlled explosion of my touki blocked his blow allowing me to free up a hand as my sword blocked his other axe.

And the final prince couldn't react to the supernatural martial art move of Albion's fang and I injected my touki into his body through my white scale-covered hand that clawed through his thick leather armor.

"Father... It burns!" The prince hissed as he backpedaled away from me while I met his father in a brutal exchange of melee blows that had me swatting his axe away from me via the shaft of the axe as I knew their primordial runes were on the axe blades themselves and had the exotic effects on the blades.

"Bah! Of course, it burns, he ripped a hunk off your flesh boy! Take a bite for yourself in revenge!" The king shouted and the prince nodded and went to charge forward but after a couple of steps, he collapsed forward as I whispered out.

"Albion's toxic blood and touki is nothing to ignore... Especially when your supernatural nature is built upon stolen vitality that isn't yours to begin with."

The king gave the violently twitching son a look of disappointment before he looked back to me and said. "Heh. Magic, poison, what else will you steep to, in order to win this?" He asked with a frown that made my blink.

I literally couldn't help a cold laugh as I all but snarled. "You literally not even two minutes ago, told me you eat infants to reinforce your soul... There is no honor in this battle, there will be no story of this meeting. I will wipe this world of your history and you will be forgotten."

The king just shook his head and said frankly. "Bah. You are a young whelp. When old age is creeping on you and you feel your dozens of sons eyeing to rip your kingdom out from under you. You will do exactly the same as I did. As you and I? We are a different breed. Those peasants out there... No matter how mad they are, no matter how I use them, that's all they are for. To serve as the subjects of our kingdoms."

To which I could only feel a bit of doubt creep into me as I hadn't really considered how I was really going to rule any large population I took over. I was good at genocide like any Gamer was... But that wasn't my theme, I was to be the Gamer Emperor. But so far... All the would-be kingdoms I came to take over were filled with monsters I literally couldn't stomach the thought of ruling.

But after a moment of the king taking in my reaction, I just shook my head as it didn't matter for now. I had things on my plate and actually finding people to rule in the future would remain in the future. For now, all I needed to do was to kill this monster in front of me that was no different from a Greek monster that would happily eat up a little demi-god I was protecting.

Wordlessly we dashed back towards one another and my sword met the shaft of his axe again pushing it aside making him snarl at the annoyance as I prevented him from meeting my sword with his axes blades on the end. But in terms of physicality, I was both stronger and faster than he was.

It seemed that his Primordial Runes didn't actually enhance his body. And the Bloodstone and rituals he had used over the millennia had certainly hit the cap on what his body could naturally take. As he rightfully pointed out he was just a normal human.

And with him being a bog-standard human even if greatly enhanced... I dropped Kusanagi into my inventory and ducked under his axe blow making his eyes widen at how I dodged his blow but in that motion, I rolled backwards and as I did so I took out a Celestial Bronze bow with arrows hanging from my fingers.

Those long hours of training archery with Yuki and Apollo's blessing proved their value as the king couldn't react quickly enough as with five loud thumping noises three poisoned arrows dipped in the toxic saliva and venom of the Hydra I ran into while escorting Andromeda.

Slammed home into his upper chest with one arrow of the three slamming into the center of his neck and getting lodged into his spine with a loud crunching noise.

He waved his axe at me almost desperate to land at least one proper blow upon me... But his supernatural vitality quickly fled from his form as the arrows that had hit his heart, liver, and through his neck and broken spine were beyond lethal all alone. To say nothing along with the hydra venom that was lingering in his veins and making his flesh turn black as necrosis all but instantly set in.

I walked closer and then with Kusanagi in my hand I sent a wind blade towards him and a gurgle rang out as he choked, drowning on his blood as I cut off his hands making his axe fall onto the ground while I walked the rest of the way and then kicked him onto his chest so he would fall onto the ground and die as I picked up the axe and put it into my inventory with a series of dinging noises ringing out at the king's death.

A well deserved death to prevent a scourge from committing more atrocities. I'd rather be done with the enemy rather that let things build up or taking my time. Reason being? As long as they are alive, in this universe, one has to be wary of whatever Trump card they had
