Being brutally honest... I completely spaced my hammerspace and my so-called Martial Arts talent. Which I had a good reason for honestly!

First, I was rightly afraid of being a dumbass and being caught on camera making stuff disappear and reappear, and manifesting things from a hammerspace into your pockets is a good way to tear said pockets as I learned the hard way. And secondly for my martial arts...

I was fucking poor, and going to get martial arts lessons cost money and trying to train martial arts in a fucking studio apartment with two people inside of it? Yeah, I didn't want to break my hands or feet when I accidentally hit one of the brick walls that separated out the apartments.

But with ten grand falling into our pockets, we had some leeway in things... Even if our identity was completely burned so we had to get an apartment that was almost certainly a trap house or meth lab at some point where the apartment manager accepted a bribe to not worry about our identities.

But our new apartment here in Boston actually had a spare bedroom and with that bedroom, I began the time-honored game of teaching myself how to throw hands as I realized just how overpowered my actual martial arts ability truly was.

'My fucking sponsor should have mentioned I was basically Taskmaster lite!' I thought with annoyance as I enhanced my body with chakra and ran through the motions of the Whirlwind Iron Cutting Fist. As I had realized something.

Certain martial arts worked very damned well with Chakra to an obscene level. Water Stream Rock Smashing Fist from Bang of the One Punch Man universe for example. That worked remarkably well when I enhanced my body with my natural water chakra alignment.

But I wanted a more offensive-based martial art so I used Bangs Brother Bomb's martial art the Whirlwind Iron Cutting Fist which used Wind-based Chakra as a style to carve opponents apart.

And once again I couldn't truly train any martial arts while in the middle of a small apartment and Hinata couldn't teach me as well.

Not because she couldn't fight though that did play a part in it. But there was also the simple fact that she was a Hyuga and thus had lived her entire life training to use the Gentle Fist style and purposefully never messing with other martial arts styles in order to not taint the purity of her body's reactions for that particular style.

But after a long day of work in proving myself to a new boss in working at a butcher shop I relaxed and spoke out to Hinata who was sitting on a couch in the living room reading a book. "Hinata, let's go out to the park down the street. Its rather overgrown so it can be a decent place for me to stretch out without getting a bunch of attention."

The sound of her book snapping closed rang out and as I came into the living room I saw her give me a small smile and say gently. "Alright, a nice way would be nice Jake." And once she slipped on some shoes we locked our apartment and walked down the street to the park that was down the road of our apartment complex.

Well, calling it a park was a stretch. It was more of an undeveloped bit of forestry that rightfully no one went to, as it used to be a homeless camp with all the trash and used needles to accompany such an area.

"Hmm. Well, they did clean up the tents and other stuff." I muttered looking around the half a miles worth of thankfully dense forest that surrounded me so while in the center I could barely see the road we veered off away from in our walk.

"So is there something in particular you wanted to train?" Hinata asked in curiosity and I chuckled and walking over to a tree I began walking up it casually as I had been long practicing wall walking with my Chakra in my apartment by walking on the brick walls.

"I got tree walking as you can tell!" I called out making Hinata roll her eyes fondly at my act but she raised up an eyebrow and asked tauntingly.

"Are you ready to practice some water walking in that creek as well?" She asked teasingly making my lips twitch as I shook my head as I jumped off the tree and got back to the ground.

"Nah... It's like low fifties right now. I don't want to get covered in cold creek water when I've already been training on standing on bathwater at home." I said shamelessly making her roll her eyes at my excuse but beyond that I looked towards one of the bigger tree's in the forest that already looked rotting and dying and I took a deep breath as I called upon the chakra within my body.

'Merge, physical life energy with spiritual energy of the soul to make Chakra... Then fold it, twist it, and stretch it out.' I spoke to myself mentally as my chest inflated slightly and then I held a finger to my hips as I spat out a high-pressure beam of water that exploded as it collided with the tree with the large tree's bark exploding off its form as the high-pressure water tore its bark off to expose its hardier core.

"Good work Jake. Your lack of Chakra points means that although it's more difficult for you to initially get the process of using a jutsu... Once you get it, it is just something you do within yourself I guess." Hinata spoke as she looked at me with her Byuakugan active and I nodded with a small smile as I stretched and then walked over to the tree.

Taking a deep breath I felt my body flood and fully reinforce itself with the supernatural enhancement of chakra and then a slight hissing noise rang out as I twisted the air between my fingers as I used Bombs martial art in the Whirlwind Iron Cutting Fist.

That whine of compressed air became a shriek of that displaced air as I threw a punch into the tree with the Whirlwind Iron Cutting Fist style which was a mix of the leopard and southern dragon style of martial arts that others might have known.

When my fist connected with the tree a loud cracking noise rang out and I pulled back my reinforced fist before pushing where I punched the tree with my hands and with a rumbling noise the center of the somewhat rotting tree unveiled how large circles in the shape of a bullseye from the compressed wind blades of my punch was pushed out of the center of the tree.

Leaving a beach ball-sized hole in the tree and I thought. 'I need to train my wind manipulation. I can only cut things apart with the martial art if I actually connect with my fist. Whereas Bomb was able to attack people from a bit of distance.' I thought as I shook my hand clean of any dust.

Turning over to Hinata I saw her raise an eyebrow with her lavender eyes looking at me in amusement as she asked gently. "What? Are you ready to go back home now?"

I smiled and walked over with Hinata naturally turning so that she could take my arm against her chest as we walked towards the road. But as we turned around Hinata stilled and our walking stopped as she whirled around to look behind us and as I looked around as well Hinata activated her Byuakugan and said in confusion. "Jake... There is a large bipedal thing like three meters tall and with a wolf head hiding behind a burrough of brush at our eleven-clock, a hundred meters."

'Fucking wat?' I thought but then the brush she mentioned exploded as a form shot out of it and I fucking processed her words and remembered why the homeless camp was dispersed... Supposedly a bear killed four of them and with the authorities being unable to find the bear they just had the homeless people move.

But even as I molded my chakra to become ready I saw it and instantly could recognize it as a fucking werewolf and I wanted to scream as this was bullshit for me to run into this!
