Hi everyone,

This month has been a bit extreme but I have managed to get a lot of work done despite this.

Youtube

I have finished writing my response to Jordan Peterson debate speech against Zizek. I just need to record it and then send the file to red plateaus for editing.

I am not sure what the next video will be.  I have a video on Bakunin's views on religion I'm thinking of finally finishing.

PhD

I've mainly been reading Malatesta in order to understand his views on how anarchists should relate to wider working class social movements and struggles for immediate reforms under capitalism.

Parallel to this I've been continuing to work towards finishing my chapters on syndicalism. They're almost done. Only a few small sections to write that require me to condense several books I've read into a few paragraphs. Am yet to work out how to do this.

I've been continuing to add more obscure anarchist women into my PhD, such as Maria Roda-Balzarini who was one of the main agitators during a strike in Como, Italy, when she was just 14.

Over the next month I plan to finally finish syndicalism. I know I said this last month as well but hopefully it'll be true this time.

Thanks so much for supporting me and making this research possible.

If i remember correctly, Bakunin had some rather extreme antisemitic views. Are you going to touch on this? A few old anarchist authors are infamous for this, e.g. Proudhon with really obvious extermination fantasies. Anyways, on a positive note, your "critique of seizing state power from an anarchist perspective" video was something i really enjoyed and helped me put my own criticism to a point.

It sounds to me as if you are getting bogged down in details. Try to focus on results. That's the best advice I can give you. The best painter is one who knows when to put the brush down.
