FLATTENED - vanameh (Patreon)

This one had a bit of a process to it!

Originally it was this sketch:

The client wanted to upgrade it to cel color, but I couldn't find the original sketch, as it was done in September of last year...

So, I blew up this jpeg, tinted it blue and printed it out:

Which, when inked and scanned again, came out like this: 

If I wasn't happy with the amount of schmutz left in the scan, I could have scanned it in color so I could edit out the blue channel... but it ended up being even cleaner than a typical page of inks with erased pencil markings. 

I may use this process in the future for animation, since it allowed for much faster and cleaner inks than usual!
