June Visual Novel Character Poll! (Patreon)

The theme for the Horny On Main Game Jam was announced as "TRIAL RUN", and I got a brain blast for my visual novel story setting last night! The only question is, who's story would players like to see most? Vote on who interests you below! You can vote for more than one, but whoever gets the most votes will be the character route that I work on completing first, and if I have enough time in the month, I'll come back and do another poll to see which character route should come next!

So the setting is gonna be a little college town, where a mysterious food additive is discovered - the table is set for appetites gone wild, weight gain, feederism, muscle, a little hyper and macro, with a touch of horror and intrigue!

First character I've got in mind is Theo, one of my first OC's! Komodo dragon, cis male, he/him, mid-20's. A biochemistry prodigy, extremely brainy and industrious, but struggles with empathy and relationships, so he spends all his time in his home gym and lab, perfecting his mind and body and looking for his big scientific break. The story begins when he finds it in the form of a mysterious food-grade yeast that holds immense potential for nutritional supplements... but, if not carefully controlled, perhaps too much nutrition. He needs a test subject, though he could fill that role himself... and also needs to avoid scrutiny from a local journalist.

His route could feature the following:
- testing his discovery on himself resulting in weight gain, hyper muscle, and potentially other side effects...
- feeding and studying a test subject, either Page ( weight gain) or Shay (weight gain+muscle)
- avoiding getting shut down by Dolores, who is investigating his dubious practices while struggling to resist the addictive properties of his additives, causing her to experience some weight gain+breast expansion+lactation.

2nd character is Page, who you may recognize from another visual novel project I plan to continue after this game jam! They're a 20-something enby fox, looking for their own big break in vlogging or podcasting or... something. They work at Theo's favorite pizza place in the meantime, and have a bit of a rapport with the rogue scientist, enough to wind up getting unwittingly involved in a breakthrough discovery in a very big way! 

Their route can involve:
- agreeing to be Theo's test subject with food made with his experimental additive, resulting in potentially massive weight gain or just belly-centered expansion as the yeast creates a feedback loop of out-of-control appetite... Of course, tracking this kind of personal growth also makes great material for a vlog!
- working as his delivery driver and bringing supplements to Shay, either feeding her or mutually gaining with her, both of them just enjoying indulging with abandon until she finds herself unable to curb this appetite...
- helping Dolores with her investigation, and either helping her manage her appetite as she gets too close to the stuff, or getting her help managing your appetite as you've already undergone some of Theo's tests yourself.

3rd character is Shay, another one of my earliest OC's who got a more fitting name change (from Denise in 2017, too similar to Dolores which stuck) She’s early 20s cis girl fox squirrel, currently a student at the local college unsure of what she’s really going for… she’s lived a pampered life and so far only knows two things she’s passionate about, FOOD and NAPS, and looking for the absolute easiest way to make a living that she can find. So when she sees a posting for a clinical trial that pays generously and involves nothing but eating and logging her biometrics, she’s ecstatic!

Her route can include:
- participating in Theo’s clinical trial, and letting her appetite run wild. Weight gain, stuffing, and the possibility of hitting it off with Page along the way leading to some adventure.
- If the whole appetite experimentation thing gets out of hand, Shay may find herself craving more than just food… could take a darker turn to vore if that’s what readers crave!
- Theo’s clinical trial, but actually going to the gym for a change, resulting in some miraculous gains! In fact, she seems to be having a second growth spurt, even getting a bit taller…? (muscle, some macro)

4th character is Dolores, my first OC! Cow, mid-30’s cis woman who changes jobs frequently, currently working for the local newspaper wearing a lot of hats, from tourism to food reviews. She suspects there’s a bigger story going on when a mysterious food delivery service appears out of thin air, offering an incredibly delicious (and, she finds, incredibly delicious) menu. She’s on the case of figuring up what this Theo guy puts in that pizza, and if it’s really all that safe, hopefully before he tempts her to let herself go to gluttony… Her routes will probably be a bit darker and more adult in tone.

Her route could feature:
- Investigating Theo solo, though whether you get out of it with your waistline unscathed depends on your will to resist his culinary and physical charms… things might get a bit tense if you make too many discoveries about just how safe this stuff is, could get out of control in a lot of ways. (weight gain, feederism, breast expansion, lactation)
- Attempting to enlist the help of local delivery driver Page to get the scoop on their boss Theo, though Page seems to have a bit of a self-control problem re: chowing down on the food they’re supposed to be delivering that they could certainly use some help with…
- Contacting Shay for some inside info on the additives’ properties, after getting some first-hand experience with her on with what it can do to one’s metabolism… she’s a bit desperate to put some breaks on the gain train, up to you where the pounds go and on whom, but they’re certainly gonna go somewhere until you unravel the mystery.
