So this morning I reopened the project files for a top-down action RPG engine that I had... basically finished??... a couple years ago at the height of my gamedev aspirations. Real world financial woes beat it out of me. 

But I looked at this and thought... what if enemies that are smaller than you ran away from you, and you eat em when you catch em? And bigger enemies chase you, and you gotta get big enough to eat them too??

I put a lot of 8-directional actions in there, and I'd actually want to REMOVE some, of all things! Really just the run and dash, for pouncing on prey, and I'd have your size be the only stat to keep it simple. I'll keep stamina in there too, to give some strategy to how you run away from predators or pursue prey. 

Gonna work on retooling this with new placeholder sprites and some actual gameplay over the next few weeks, and I'll release it here for patrons to check out as soon as I have something playable!!

Super Jimbo Quest will resume once I'm done with this project - I'm still doing lots of concept art for it, and having a great time! I'm gonna try to make SJQ a little less horny and more cute, with softer TF elements... so I'm gonna get the horniness out of my system with this game I think lol

I would definitely love to throw in money for that project additionally, if I could get a character of mine as a playable option! If you think something like that could be interesting, we could certainly chat about it once you get that far!

An interesting idea...! I'll def hit you up once i'm ready to move beyond placeholder sprites!
