I hope you've enjoyed Basil 2! No author's note yet though. Im saving that for after I'm finished with the Laguna pages~ (Which -- are up next week! We're not QUITE done with issue 2.)

Still, I want to thank you all for supporting me while doing this. It's been an absolute thrill and I'm super excited for 3.

I think Basil knows what he’s doing. I’m proud that he has confidence in himself, but I hope in due course he learns to love who he is too. Thank you for giving us this gift Mikro! Can’t wait to see what happens next! 😁👍

I have to admit Basil has a very good point. Especially if he wants to do this for himself and prove he wants to do this for himself, he has to learn to rely on himself to keep up with it. While Abe is a good inspiration, he can't be the reason. Good on Basil. Still sucks he is stuck with Ruby. BUT, maybe Ruby will come around and prove herself not a somewhat nutcase. Also will join in and say thank you so much for this story. It's a great one and I'm looking forward to the next chapter!

Abe sucks, objectively. Ala bojack. Only because he makes basil happy do we not think he is a douche. He's like thd nice boat guy or a harem protagonist only actually has sex but because hooks with dudes and gets pegged the immediate disdain carried or attached to that tag is defanged or cushioned. But the reasons or essence of them still there, alongside the bunny who makes Basil happier. But what we heard about his relationship with Ruby that makes her uniquely the asshole? She's the girl with the guy who runs around and she rightly wants depth and commitment and then, after assuring (for years) he ain't slipping he focuses on some other guy just cuz like its 500 days of summer and their relationship *basil or ruby's* got plenty of shades of...using. Take the protagonist centerism off and Abe is the asshole here from a million lovestories. Whatshis name in Barbershop with ice cube Or bill clinton..only worse. Heck his behavior is the thing folks deeply decry ladies doing And while not the most adult and mature its only basil being a big emotional bruise that makes her actions come off so mean or psycho. She tracked down her lying beau and threw some shade at the competition So much craycray /s Finally...basil kind of needs to see this, if she's his longest term partner he needs a view of Abe outside his...of lens I don't know. not hate the Abe but his feelings and actions....it's really the strongest stuff that makes me want to trust him feels more informed with Basil. And if basil is his most emotionally connected relationship. . . If he's been less than or more shallow or disconnected with others. Eh. *shivers* That said not the circumstances Basil and her should be trying to uh reach accord. This is just going to cause basil problems. And its clear that guy is tender
