Here's the 30-second preview of Kamala's character theme, along with our composer's notes:

Kamala's theme was the most challenging themes I composed. Kamala came from a fictional city called Alkos, which is a fusion of cultures from the Mediterranean, Asia Minor, and South Asia.

I love listening to world music and I've been a long-time fan of Loreena Mckennit, a composer and singer who blends celtic, middle-eastern, and medieval genre. Her works are innovative and emotionally impactful. 

Her air of grandiose and majesty was one of the main atmospheres I want to capture for Kamala. As for the musical arrangement, I incorporated several instruments from different cultures like Psaltery, Theorbo, and Viola da Gamba from the medieval era, Shamisen from Japan, Uileann Pipe from the Celts, Dizi from China, and the European standard orchestra. Most of the instruments I mentioned will appear in her 2nd theme variation. It was hella fun to work with all of these colors!
