Short but frequent chapters, or long but slow? (Patreon)

I'm wondering what would be a better fit for my various series? My stuff has been getting longer of late, and I like that... but it also means it takes longer to produce. I'm thinking it might be good to go back to 2-3,000 word chapters with 4 being the outer limit (instead of, like, 9k). I'd keep the one shots I'm doing to their current length, and I'd still cover all the same story - I'd just be giving you more frequent updates on my series.

In return for this, I'll be sure to keep chapters on patreon for a full 2 weeks before releasing them to the public, rather than just keeping you 2 weeks or a chapter ahead.
