Going to try and do this again, but with an egg as the MC. I like the idea of a trans woman getting transformed and transitioned by monsters, but I think I want to tell that as a DIFFERENT tale. A more willing one. 

What I have in mind for StC could best be told through an (at first) unwilling victim.
