This chapter is, again, somewhat autobiographical - and somewhat made up.

I did work in a casino, briefly. I wasn't a dealer, but worked carnival games in a well known casino in the Reno area.  I also got fired from a (different) job right after coming out to my boss. The circumstances were different, it was my fault, and I don't think it was related... but the thing about being trans is, you're never sure.

That said, I want to reassure you of something - that coming out? Was worth it. That I'm a happier and better person since coming out as a girl. But still. I can't lie. There are DEFINITE hardships, and they're reflected in the story.
