I would normally make something of this size one of my bonus stories. This story is the first of its length, though, and I'm proud to bring it to ALL my patreons. I just hope you enjoy.

Finished reading this story and I can understand why your proud of it. It’s more of a romance story than an erotic one. More is focused on the characters feelings than their situation. Its a good thing the main character was written well. Elli is a fully fleshed out person they have had a miserable life under their step mother but still find hope in a desperate plan. I enjoyed reading them at their high point skipping through town and felt you captured the crushing defeat and hopeless feeling that came after when the wicked step mother easily ruins their plan. They have highs and lows in the story but ultimately they are nowhere near as passive as Cinderella. I think what I enjoyed most was how unexpected the characters where. The fairy godmother she only has a short role but an important one. I expect someone old and wise, gentle and kindly. She’s a hilarious busy body, she pops in, practically pushes Elli onto their journey and leaves. The princess is also very different to how I imagined her, she’s talked about from the start, she lives in a castle its very easy to imagine a typical dress loving delicate fragile girl. She comes to her own ball with a sword and takes charge of the main character from the moment she sees them. I also like that this isn’t a case of love at first sight. They both acknowledge that its a convenient marriage that they can learn to love each other in time. The epilogue tells us their life together is going well. Another nice point was showing Elli going back to the old home not to enact revenge but to make sure its a place she does want to return to. I do have to say I am disappointed in the step mother. I love wicked step mothers, they hold complete power over their charge and can abuse it to force them into all kinds of humiliating and degrading situations. This one had even more potential forcing her step son to act as a domestic maid girl. She’s certainly mean but we never get much chance to see what kind of humiliating things she has made Elle do over her life. I’m very glad I read this story, thank you for writing it.

You have a good point about the step mother. I might write a prequel having her embarrassing a cross dressed Elli - I'm sure others would also love to see it. I'm glad you enjoyed the story overall. It took a lot of work.

It shows, its obvious a lot of effort went into writing Elli just right. She feels like a real character despite the very magical world. I loved how you wrote her emotions how desperately hopeful she was on her one long term plan. I get the feeling that was all she had going for her something she would think about during the worst parts of her life and when its taken away from her just how hopeless she feels to the point of giving up on her life. Yeah I was impressed by how you wrote Elli.
