There is also a new updater out that has a few improvements:

  • Self-updating - this will be last time you will need to direct download the updater. It now prompts to self-update when a new version is available.
  • Updater no longer overwrites key files unless they are missing or force repair all is used
  • More exception handling improvements
  • Embedded config for less user error when extracting updater from the zip file. Now the zip is just the single updater exe file.

It is recommended to download and use the new updater now to get 1.17.0.3. It can be downloaded HERE Extract contents of this zip to your current VaM install folder (overwrite existing VaM_Updater.exe) or extract to a new folder for a fresh install. Note a fresh install requires a full re-download and is not recommended if you already have VaM. If you already have VaM and just want to make another install copy, it would be better to make a copy of existing VaM install folder and then run the updater on the copy to minimize download time. This updater can update from ANY previous version of VaM.

Bug Fixes:

  • Fixed issue with red collision capsule on player head (was used for debugging Leap Motion issue and was not correctly removed in 1.17.0.2)
  • Fixed issue with save/load browse file entry wrongly cleared when in file mode. Should have only been for directory mode.
  • Fixed issue with creator name not properly applied during initial creation
  • Fixed issue with cancel button in import area or clear button not properly terminating sim generation if it was running
  • Fixed issue with custom clothing force reload not restoring material tabs

Tweaks:

  • Vastly improved clothing and hair init and reset
  • Improved key entry handling and messaging. Properly detect file i/o issues and report. Program version now appears on the key entry panel for easier matching to keys
  • Disable anatomy now works properly with custom textures
  • DAZ Import – added support for <> characters in duf/dsf files
  • Improved cloth sim data generation abort method to be more immediate and properly clear data
  • WindowCamera – collision now off by default since this is an invisible item
  • Reverted back to old default scene (Saves/scene/MeshedVR/default.json). Note that Saves/scene/default.json is no longer included so you can make your own default and it won’t be overwritten when updating versions.

how long does it take to verify payment? i put in my info, but haven't gotten access to any keys yet or billed. Is it 24 hours ?

Billing happens between 1st and 5th of every month. But if you pledge mid-month you should have immediate access to keys. Note that keys are found in the posts section. Look there.

The key is in a patreon only post. Just scroll down the latest posts an you will directly see the key. (The 17.0 key is stiill working)

I went back and talked with each party involved. The problem is patreon and what they will allow for payment options. Patreon for whatever reason REFUSES to even acknowledge this and I even asked them point blank serveral times but they refused to state the reason instead blaming visa, master and paypal. I did speak with Visa, Mastercard and Paypal support. They were able to pull up the transaction logs and said that it is in fact because Patreon will not allow anonymous payment that is the reject reason. So if you want to support an Artist on Patreon you have to identify yourself.

hey meshed would it be possible to make the breast collide with eachother? so it would be possible to make better cleavage ?

Most updaters are treated as threats due to how they work. There isn't much I can do about it. It is a false positive.

Would it be possible to dissociate several garments so that they do not mix when superimposed ... (above, below or in the foreground or in the background) and would it be possible when there are accessories? on clothing (brooch, buttons, laces, eyelet .... etc ...) to have additional settings so that they do not explode when activating undressing ... thank you Serait'il possible de dissocier plusieurs vétements afin d'evité qu'ils se mélange pas lorsqu'on les superpose... ( dessus, dessous ou en premier plan ou en arriere plan ) et serait'il possible quand il y a des accessoires sur les vetements ( broche, boutons, lacets, oeillet....etc... ) d'avoir des reglages supplèmentaire afin qu'ils explosent pas lorsqu'on active le deshabillage... merci

Here is the creator key post. https://www.patreon.com/posts/release-1-17-key-27030313 If you don't see "Key Accepted" and then a "Creator" toggle above the Ready button there is probably issue of writing the key file. Latest version of VaM now reports errors about this. It could be that you installed VaM in an admin-protected directory, in which case the recommendation is to move the folder to non protected folder.
