Download:

You must have 1.16.0.0 or 1.16.0.1 installed 1st (see 1.16.0.0 release post). Use the VaM_Updater.exe found in your VaM folder to get the update to 1.16.0.2

So everything so far has been excellent. My only question is are we going to get free move with the rift back?without it stopping every time you grab something so you have to go back to a menu and select it again?

I think this is due to their error of the operation, with me everything goes well with Leap Motion in version 1.16.0.2

I seem to notice a big performance issue with the web browser : videos play at 1 frame per second and the general navigation is quite slow.

Hello, I just installed 1.16.0.0 and updated it to 1.16.02. When I click on the hands symbol to change from controllers to hands, there are no hands. They are just invisible. I'm using Oculus Rift. Best Regards.

You need to have hand selected as your controller option. can we please get free move back without it being disabled every time you grab...been using freemove for forever and it is hard for me to edit or move anythign in a room now without constantly switching through menus just to turn it back on

Trying to get used to leap motion, it's a bit glitchy using it alongside the Oculus remotes. Amazing when it works though. BTW can we get pose controls for genitalia areas (gape etc)? The new clothes are awesome as well, more of those the better.

Also, the ability to disable undress with one click would be really useful. Right now if you clicked undress all and want it back to normal you have to go through all the individual clothing.

The Rift S is disappointing in many ways, it's basically a step down in everything but resolution, and that's only a slight bump. And the tracking will be more convenient but not as accurate as a 3 sensor setup. Maybe you could find a controller on eBay for cheaper? There's some used - like new ones for less than $80 on Amazon btw.

Anyone know if ASW 2.0 is going to greatly enhance the performance of VAM?

yeap, VAM sends depth data to Oculus SDK already, you can tell if a game does this (and will support ASW 2.0) by pinning a virtual screen from your oculus dash and playing the game. If the screen can be occluded by things in the game then the game will also support ASW 2

It's case sensitive, so you might want to make sure that's not the issue first, or that there are any pesky spaces.

Hello, I wanted to know how to turn on the leapmotion controllers in the VR version (using it with the HTC vive).

MeshedVR, update from v14.0.0 to v16.0.2 is failing. At first VaM_Updater.exe inaccurately reported successful update to v16.0.2 (while version still shows as 14.0.0, new key doesn't work, and no update shown in patch.log) and then, only once I manually downloaded and used the v16 VaM_Updater.exe in existing install folder did it try to download, but immediately crashing without notice, with 404 error for downloading 14.0.0_1.15.1.0 shown in patch.log. Details: I had v1.14 installed, ran VaM_Updater.exe, it said completed patching to v1.16. However, the new Entertainer key from the 1.16 key post failed to work with it. I tried downloading just the latest 1.16.0.0 version of the VaM_Updater.exe from the Direct (CDN) link and replacing existing VaM_Updater.exe in my install folder with that, then running, however, the updater just crashed, with the following found at the bottom of patch.log: [MVR Patcher - 4/18/2019 6:13:56 PM] Downloading file...:Downloading patch 1.14.0.0_1.15.1.0 indexer from remote server! [MVR Patcher - 4/18/2019 6:13:56 PM] The remote server returned an error: (404) Not Found. [MVR Patcher - 4/18/2019 6:13:56 PM] System.Exception: Patch download failed! Try to reopen the launcher to try again. It seems that the VaM_Updater fails to actually update from 1.14 to 16.0.0 directly when using the existing VaM_Updater.exe included with 1.14, despite the updater showing that it successfully applied update to "v1.16.0.2", and the new 1.16 key failing to work plus only the following entries in patch.log (when ran before replacing VaM_Updater.exe with newest version of it manually) seem to confirm that: [MVR Patcher - 4/18/2019 6:03:10 PM] Checking version...:Found version 1.14.0.0 [MVR Patcher - 4/18/2019 6:03:10 PM] Checking...:Checking for remote service! [MVR Patcher - 4/18/2019 6:03:10 PM] Cleaning!:Cleaning MVR Patcher workspace! Even worse, now the updater just fails to download the "1.14.0.0_1.15.1.0" patch needed first in order to update to v1.16.0.2, and not only does it fail to do so, but it just crashes without any reporting that, so had to look for a log file to figure out what happened. Are users supposed to be required to manually download and replace VaM_Updater.exe every release (or ever other release, etc.)? If so, then should change this so that VaM_Updater.exe is capable of updating itself. Or, are you not supporting users who missed updating in between (eg. those like myself who are trying to update from v14.0.0 to 16.0.2)? Please note that I have anti-virus and firewall (ESET) disabled and confirmed active internet connection and tried running VaM_Updater.exe and then VaM.exe many times with it failing the same way every time. Can you please fix whatever error is resulting in "Patch download failed" (404) for 1.14.0.0_1.15.1.0, and also show error message to users in cases like that if does fail instead of crashing? I have quite a bit of custom content I don't want to have to merge in and don't have disk space to spare to download and extract and then manually merge a 16GB copy all over again, as I already had to do that the last time I updated do to similar issues. Thanks.

I'm sorry for the confusion and frustration. 1.16 release came with a note that it was full download only and is not capable of patching earlier releases. This was due to massive reorganization of the assets to allow future patches to be much smaller. In 1.16 release it was recommended to create a new install folder for this purpose. I plan to introduce new patch system soon that will allow switching versions on the fly and will not require a new patcher or config file each release.

Hi, would it be possible to have a look into doing some tests with Vive Linux binarys ? I know Oculus doesn't work on linux atm, but vive works very well.

tried launching the paid versions (1.0, 1.13, 1.15, 1.16) but only the demo version of 1.6 works in vr with the Rift. Anyone else experienced this? If so what fixed it?

Can someone please help? I'm having an issue where I just downloaded and update the game and now it loads up perfectly, but I'm stuck at the main menu unable to click anything. I'm using the standard Samsung Odyssey. Every other VR game in my library works, but this game for some reason has stopped responding to input. There's no other external programs running or plug-ins running through Steam VR. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I have no idea why this is happening.

I can highlight anything within the main menu but I can't click anything, I've tried an older version of the game that was previously working and its the thing now, also the desktop mode works perfectly so I have no wtf could be causing this.

I haven't been able to get the hand model to work for leap motion. I'm using a rift with latest patch. Can any one help?

You probably have the same issue that I had at first. I was selecting hands in the UI VR Hands menu for Leap Motion only. Below that in the Motion Controllers section are additional hands choices. I think the default is "spherekinematic." Change that to Male 1 or 2 and you should hopefully be good to go.
