Due to huge reorganization and a lot of changes, 1.16 is only available as full download. The reorganization was done so that future releases and patches will be much smaller. Also - the updater method is soon going to be changed so that it will be very easy to change which release you are running with minimal download times. Here are the download choices:

  • Torrent Fastest, but you will need a BitTorrent client.
  • Mega 
  • WeTransfer 
  • Direct (CDN) Extract contents of zip to a new directory, and run VaM_Updater.exe to begin download into that same directory.

Tweaks:

  • All Clothing: removed exclusive region. Can now stack similar items.
  • Shoes: Improved wrap method for much better look!
  • UI: Atom names now sorted in dropboxes
  • AnimationPattern: Selected pattern curve line color is now blue instead of red for betting highlight
  • Asset reorganization: future patches will be smaller in size
  • Saves: moved all scenes and other files to MeshedVR subfolder for better organization

Bug Fixes:

  • Clothing Sim: fixed 2 bugs with Person scaling
  • Clothing Sim: fixed missing shadow casting on Silky PJ Top Sim
  • Clothing: Fixed shader on Heatwave Shirt to allow shadow cutout
  • Clothing: fixed heel draw lag issue
  • Person: fixed issue with new colliders added in 1.15 not working with scaling
  • Person: fixed issue with eyelashes not receiving shadows and looking backlit. Also fixed female 7 and 8 lacrimals (parts of eye) that had similar issue
  • Fixed issue with not being able to interact with UI if Saves/scene/default.json was missing

Fucking hell, 11.58 GB, that's a bigun. I mean I have more than enough space and my internet isn't garbage but still, fucking hell. Also I'm going to have to disagree with Torrent being the fastest, it's certainly not when it keeps stopping and starting or just not starting at all, I'll stick with Mega instead.

Gotten kinda lazy with the installer last few upgrades. So...what's the recommended steps to install and move all my existing scenes, scripts, textures, morphs, etc over? Can I just copy the Saves folder over? Is it as easy as that?

Yup. I routinely copy over the saves, textures, and import folders.

Leap hands not working on Oculus. I have regular Leap 4.0.0 Orion drivers. Do I need the SDK maybe? Also updater breaks everything.

Leap works nicely with vive! only got some issues where my hands disappears way too often, but probably something a few patches can fix.

Hi...quick workaround while we wait for fix: when you go to user preferences and then VR hands, you can set the motion controller from sphere to male hand for each hand. The hands are then visible and are collidable.

I mentioned a few posts up that several mentioned it was broken for Oculus and I would look at it today. I don't think there was any need to make this many posts.

It was based on Compliance 1.0 with some improvements. The author of 2.0 plans to update the plugin to work with built-in Comply state on the controllers which should make the plugin work better. I don't currently have plans to incorporate all the functionality.

You have to turn them on and enable them in User Preferences -> VR Hands tab. Hands are not on by default. Have you done that? If so, I'm not quite sure what the issue might be.

If your hands are disappearing a lot, it may be your environment. Do you have a lot of reflective surfaces in your room? I won't be able to improve leap tracking at all. That comes purely from Leap Motion's own drivers.

The wait was long but the result is there ....Very nice update Meshed, you still did a lot of work.The corrected shoes, it's top, as well as the news.As for the hands, with the oculus no problem for me, it works very well.Thanks again Meshed continue like this ^^

Although I have hands but that works only with the rift controllers not with Leap Motion :-(

Great Work Meshed. Thanks for the update and special thanks for adding leap motion support! I have a vive and already had the leap installed and working for the plugin. With 1.16 it was plug and play instantly working.

Hi MeshedVR, just want to pop in here and say thankyou. i've heard of patreon for years, never used it or supported any one on here before. You are my first ever foray into supporting something like this and, its fantastic and im happy i made the descision to do it. ive only just started using VaM for less than a month, i think i only just downloaded 1.15 like 2 weeks ago, and now 1.16 is out already and im overjoyed. im enjoying the software, and also self learning how to do things with unity and scripting using your VaM too (holds my attention XD) anyway thanks again, keep up the amazing work. clearly the best VR game/software ive ever used thats for sure.

I have identified and fixed the issue with Oculus and Leap Motion not working together. There will be a 1.16.0.1 patch out later today to fix this and some other issues. Thank you!

Lol! I'm such a dope... All this time I have been messing around with the LeapMotion hand settings. I never though to check the section below it for the normal motion controller settings... Derp! This is a great update, Meshed VR! Thanks again for all you do!

So one thing I have been having trouble with is the animation toggle thats available on Morphs. How do you get those to when trying to record?

Is there a way to tweak the grasp strength of the leap hands or is a feature request. Everything worked great btw, and I use a Lenovo explorer MR with the leap
