You must install full 1.4 version 1st, then run the patch exe from the link above. Select the Release1.4 folder where you installed VaM and continue with patcher.

  * fix male character performance issue
 * fix for not being able to set male character materials
 * fixed default materials for Simple Top and Simple Underwear Shorts
 * fix for materials with alpha transparency in base color losing alpha settings on load (glasses were effected by this)
 * Dream Street Bedroom - fix for TV not showing up in screenshot camera
 * fix for all web browsers - now rendered on geometry queue to avoid hair transparency rendering oddities
 * Image Panel - transparency sorting issue fixed
 * Simple Sign - now rendered as unlit geometry

Awesome thanks for the fixes. I noticed a bug in where if you had the same item worn by 2 people, but set different colors they seem to want to both become the most recently set color. not sure if this is the alpha bug you mentioned.

Oh wow, I'd been able to test 1.4 just long enough to notice the hair transparency bug, only to immediately see it get fixed. That's incredible; I'd honestly thought it was just a limitation of the new non-sim hair option. Good job, St. Meshed.

I already mentioned it somewhere else: meshedVR is a genius! I wonder if he is aware of the fact that he has solved NASA's main problem with long time space missions i.e. the journey to Mars :-) ...they are going to be very interested in this masterpiece :-D

If you click into any text box, including the browser, it should pop open a keyboard below the UI interface. You can then enter text. I don't have traditional keyboard option, if that is what you were trying.

You are literally a god. This game truly has so much potential, im just so glad to see that you're this dedicated in supporting it. This is the only game that has the potential to take full advantage of all of DAZ Studio's built in resources with all the crazy morphs it has, no game would be able to compete against this one in terms of character customization that is actually interactive since you built up this soft body physics system. Its really fucking genius, i always wondered why no one else thought of using daz figures for a porn game since DAZ already has such a large community creating contents such as character Morphs and other resources that players can add on themselves. This'll make this game as big as the skyrim modding community if you pull all this off.

I mean...he's still gonna' need things like audio and a trigger/scripting system to even remotely resemble that kind of community, but the work on those are being done at least. Definitely an exciting project regardless of how you look at it.

Hello, I am addressing all subscribers. I think it would be necessary to post videos and photos with some articles to advertise at Meshed VR. I think he does a great job compared to the other but he does not have many subscribers. It is also up to us to support him. So to anyone who can post videos, comments or photos, it would be nice to do it. Personally, I think his exceptional work and that he deserves that we do this for him. You just put on your VR headset after entering the unlock key. VR content is not normally show on the desktop monitor (option exists in VR to enable that).

Hey, happy new Yeah :D Ehm i just installed the patch, i've noticed that the male character can't stand on the ground. He's float a bit in the air. The female character are stuck in the ground but you can move her around and it fixes it. the male character is still buggy. i didn't tested it on other scenes, it was in the dreamroom scene.

Hi, im using alternate VR stuff(Pimax4k/Nolo) ... unable to hit(activate) menu buttons in main menu. VR and Tracking still works fine just the controller buttons(Trigger, grip,...) appears to be un-/remaped... other games working fine btw..

It is possible you hit the window size bug: <a href="https://trello.com/c/bmzri1aU" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">https://trello.com/c/bmzri1aU</a> I still don't have permanent fix for this, but you can try running VaM Config shortcut and select 1024x768 resolution and hit play. It may enable the buttons to work.

I think you just have to install java for Chrome. The embedded web browser is based on open Chromium project.

Hi, since downloaded 1.4 I cannot add any preset scene (even after patched 1.4.1). I suppose to put the scene files under saves -&gt; scene folder, which it's working in 1.3 but not now. Any suggestion? Thanks

Hey so I don't know if anyone else has had this issue with 1.4.x but in any case I have been noticing a major drop in performance that is not observed when using 1.3. Specifically that is to say that I get a lot more stuttering and slight motion sickness (due to low FPS) ... even the loading screen when launching is really choppy whereas when running 1.3 or earlier versions I have no issues. This is observed even after the initial loading and there's nothing there but a single character with a black background . Is there some overhead that's been added to 1.4? I may need a new CPU, dunno, but in any case other than for checking out the new additions and such, this leaves 1.4/1.4.1 largely unusable for me.

1.4.1 and 1.3 exhibit near identical performance for me on same scene. Perhaps you can run the provided CPU benchmark shortcut on both 1.3 and 1.4.1. 1.4 did have performance issue with male character, but if you patched to 1.4.1 that should be fixed. 1.4 did add slightly higher rendering cost for general objects, clothing, and hair as it now uses a transparency shader, but the overhead on that is pretty minimal. Not sure what you might be seeing, but posting some of the CPU and or GPU benchmark numbers might be helpful.

HI! BIG WISH! Can you plan, that can use 4 Vive Controllers and the Headset for all the 5 Possing Points. Or 2 Vive Controller - 2 Vive Trackers and the Headset. Then i must be really cool for the ANIMATION . 2 Controllers for the Hands - 2 Controllers i put to my feets and the Headset (it´s on my Head ;-)) Thanx for listen!!!

This is by far one of the best VR adult games I have ever played and this is only the beginning of it! I have been a long time fan of a Illusion brand of anime style adult games especially now that there is VR software available for it. I must say this has the potential to be the western version of it. The only thing lacking for this is audio and facial expressions/morphs which I know is in the works and very excited for. Just curious, is there somewhere where people are sharing characters? I'm very good at replicating characters both anime and realistic with sliders and morphs and would like to share my creations with the community. BTW keep up the great work! I don't usually become a patreon but for this, you have my full support.

How much RAM do you need to run this game? I have 8 GB and VaM.exe crashes after eating all of it. Is it normal or a memory leak? I closed all programms, even antivirus.

Trying to improve this for 1.5 release, but currently it requires about 9GB for most scenes (some scenes push this even higher). If you turn on pagefile in Windows, you will be able to run with 8GB.

How is it not working? No image in headset after starting, or controls not working? If controls not working to interact with UI, this is a known issue I don't have a permanent fix for. The workaround for it is to launch Vam Config shortcut instead of VaM.exe and select 1024x768 resolution and hit Play. UI interaction with controllers should now work. If different issue, please provide more details. Thanks!

Even though desktop shows key entry, VR should be working. Did you put on VR headset and just see black? Are other things working on the VR headset ok?

I can't seem to get any controls to work. I can look around and everything, but I've tried every single button Vive controllers, Xbox Controller, and Keyboard and i get absolutely no response from anything but the enter key window.

Basically run VaM Config shortcut next to VaM.exe and then select 1024x768 resolution and hit play. You should not be able to see red/blue dots at end of laser pointers that indicated UI interaction is working.

VaM looks amazing. But the the models' skin looks very cartoony (too plasticy/perfect). Virtually Naked has a fraction of the functionality of VaM but the skin looks amazing. I'm thinking of becoming a patron - is my perception correct? If so, are there plans to have more realistic looking skin (e.g. with blemishes when you look up close?)

Thank you. Virtually Naked is using newer DAZ models (Genesis 3) which includes some really good texture sets. VaM is still using Genesis 2, although I have plan for Genesis 3/8 here: <a href="https://trello.com/c/Pb5Nkl41" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">https://trello.com/c/Pb5Nkl41</a> I do also some better Genesis 2 texture sets that will be in a future release. Virtually Naked also has some impressive rendering tech going on. Yeah there will be ongoing improvements. 1.5 includes some small updates to shadowing system (directional shadows are much better, point/spot shadows slightly better). Will be adding Genesis 3/8 models at some point which should be a significant graphical improvement. I also plan on adding shader variants and camera effects. I'll improve existing shaders when possible.
