This one has been in the making for a couple good months.
I've recorded the outdoor footage and then a few months passed before I was able to do the rest.

Unfortunately I have tried to make this video in 1440p resolution since I've gotten such a display not long ago.

The problem I faced was that my framerate seemed inadequate unless I used GPU encoding. In my quick test it seemed fine.

But when I recorded the entire thing I've realized that the last half an hour is somehow missing. The file didn't stop, OBS didn't crash, it's just than when I imported the recorded screen capture into Olive - the video stream was ~30 min. shorter than the audio stream. That was quite bad, I've run out of stream and frustrated left it unfinished for another week or so.

When I came back I realized what the problem was. The video encoder slowly degraded in performance so 90% of the video is an abysmal slideshow, and the final 30 minutes somehow got so bad that even the timing and audio was messed up.

Lessons learned: don't use GPU video encoding.

I've decided to put in the extra 4 hours or so end finish the video because hopefully maybe someone will find it useful regardless.

I still think it's embarrassingly bad though.
