Well, one of the current factors is we know next to nothing about Madeleine. I don't thing we're going to either honestly. More so what she's about to become.

Think we need to balance out the votes, seems the left nut is a bit bigger than the right one.

I can't remember if we talked about this already but if anyone has seen my art stream I like to work on a bigger canvas than what I need. I do this with with the characters too (except for Daisy who was the initial concept just based around some picture I drew). Some of the details are never brought up but they were recorded to help me construct details that might show in a subtle way. For example, Gilli's story isn't really known prior to the events except to explain why she was there in the first place but I made more than what was needed - she is native American from North Carolina who no longer is in contact with her family. Her name is a play on the Cherokee word for "dog" . She has travelled and worked in a few states and generally lands on her feet. I didn't think "I want native representation in my art" (though I have sought out peoples opinions of minority porn, because I find the ethics and opinions interesting) but I did want 4 different looking women. So its never mentioned because its not super relevant or needed but in the first pages of Gilli I worked some subtle things visually in there. Maddy has a similar level of framework to help me work out what kind of person she is. It should be enough for some of the subtleties to show through (except for language, doh. Just as well she can't say much right now XD) that people can decide her worth as a character by the end. I asked the question because when I first started volume 2 some people were quite bothered that it didn't feature Daisy again from start to finish/were disinterested in Gills but I stuck to the plan and the results are affirming so far that I can deliver my intentions (with some variation for personal preference).

Woa, Easy there! I am not remotely judging any choices where these women come from or if you've built a backstory for them. (And to that end, "Representaiton" means nothing to me as long as the story and art are genuinely good, which they mostly are here.) I'm simply offering my best guess why Madeleine possibly received the fewest votes.

I'll be clear here. I'm more than a little sure you've done your background work on each and every one of these characters. We simply haven't seen as much of the latest character yet, which changes with each panel moving forward.

Sorry! I didn't mean to come off that way, I just wanted to talk about the process some more. Gilli's info I was going to post in a video that so far I have not gotten around to making. There are no bad questions/opinions here but extra especially so since I was soliciting then.
